The first present I ever asked for was a Police CD because my aunt used to blast their albums in the car. They inspired my love of music and I'm glad he is touring and sounding great, it's not the Police but it's the best I'll ever see.
I have enjoyed stings music since i was in my early teens i am now 52 years old.I have watched him age as a musician and l've watched my self age as a fan and i hope it just keeps going

Wow, 68 years old and can still hit those high notes.
Now in 2022 he had really tough time to hit high notes and sometimes he was also out of tune. I suppose a part of that was caused by voice fatigue from the tour, concerts day ater day. Check my 2 videos from last week.

I went to this tour of Tokyo, Japan. It was almost same though, Wapped around your finger was arranged like his singing chorus part.
Sting get back with Botti and all the musicians. That show was stellar.

高校時代に聴いたポリスからずっと好きなアーティスト。もう見に行けるチャンスもあまり無いかもと思い10数年ぶりにチケット買いました。そんでもって台風の影響で1日順延された仙台公演行ってきました。（中止になるかと思って気が気じゃなかった）周りは同じぐらいの年代で（みんないい歳）静かな感じかと思いましたが、スティングのパワフルさに負けず劣らずで最後までノリノリで最高でした。もうあっという間に終わった感じでもっと観たかった。やっぱりスティングはカッコいい❗️また来日してくれるかな。もしまた来てくれるなら絶対行くよ〜‼️
メジャーデビュー曲のロクサーヌを初めて聞いた時なんてクールな曲と衝撃を受けて以来のファンです。カッコ良さはあの時のまま。昨年大阪行ってきました。最高でした。

i love Sting's work; how was this recorded? doesn't sound official (professionally recorded). Don't get me wrong; it's so good to have these live concerts from such great artists and even if the recording isn't professionally done, many will gain great benefit from it. Having said that; i've spent many years trying to perfect a recording mix with all the right balance and specially the use of the right compressors, preamps, and Mixing consoles to capture the musicians playing with the true sound coming from their own amplifiers and or microphones. Capturing sound from the Concert Room its self is usually very difficult if not impossible unless the actual Concert Room has been treated for recording that way, and very few are that way except some dedicated Stages in Hollywood.
The best position for recording a live concert even with a dedicated 24 bit (or better say 32 bit floating) recording device would be at the position of the Live sound mixers position or as near to that as possible; it would require a team of several (three people) one at the live mixer and one at left and one at right. Later, a mix can then be made and lined up with the video.
i make this suggestion/s in order to help people who go to great lengths to capture some fantastic concerts however, i've been coming across many concert in recent time where the sound suffers greatly specially when smart phones are used which were not made for capturing such complex sound environments, and i've not heard one yet that seems to capture the sound that our ears are actually hearing live.
Never the less; thank you for your work, its appreciated.
I am also wondering how much officially this was filmed. Mobile phone? Almost 2 hours? Probably not. A camera? Did no one take care? I was at Sting's concert last week and did some iPhone recordings. Of course, thre was an official ban on cameras with replaceable lens, voice recorders etc...

Such a pity he treats his British fans so shabbily. He never plays more than 4-6 dates in the UK and always in the biggest ,most obvious venues. Mind you, he does consider himself more of a New Yorker now, good riddance.
