Can you please tell where you got the ferrite core? Are there different brands and some are more effective than others? Was it already wrapped with wire or did you just get a bare ferrite core and wrap it yourself? Also a question about the RCA filter please. I bought a different brand compared to the one you show. It completely got rid of the whine from the engine, but it also completely removed all bass and part of the midrange, leaving nothing but shrill and unpleasant music. Are there some that do that and I picked a bad brand, or do they all affect the frequency response?

idk how you just connected the isolator backwards but this causes a lot of confusion, the RCA inputs on the isolator say OUTPUT because the signal goes in through the RCA wire malese which means that that is connected to the head unit and the extra RCA cables plug in to the output and go to amplifier. if not then i installed it wrong and it still worked for 80% noise reduction

Do you know of anyway to destroy the too loud stereo in another car using RF?

then its induced into the rca cable, idk why the amp would be on though ik its getting constant power from the battery but the remote or blue or ignition wire w.e its called should only turn it on when the car is on. unless you put a constant wire from the battery there. you must mean if its paused and thatd be why.

So every time I turn my amp on and supply power to my sub it’s a loud static noise, could it be a ground loop?
