Great video! Just wondering... did you have to do any electrical modification to the tail lights (wiring or harness) to get the LED tail lights working - or did they just plug straight in to the existing 1157 socket and start working? I've tried using LED globes before and they did not want to work. I wanted to get some of these for my 68 SS, but living in Australia it is always a gamble with these parts due to shipping costs if they don't work.

Sorry I missed this comment. My video was exactly how I hooked them up...so far I haven’t had any issues. I did buy, but didn’t install, the resistors or whatever they are called. I ordered them from Firewheel Classics.

Nice video. Who made your trunk closeout panels?

Unfortunately I don’t know. It was like that when I bought it sir.

Great video...have those brake lights given you any issues so far???

So far no…I’ve only had one issue and that was due to a pre-existing wiring issue.

The inside tail lights look as if the brake is applied. Are they supposed to be that bright at all time? Or should they look like the outside ones, normally lower brightness? I’m working on my 68 lights now. Thanks

Brother I’d have to go back out and look…I think they stay pretty bright though on the inside ones. I’ll try and look at them again this weekend, but I think it’s right.
