Pokémon X and Y was my whole childhood. The nostalgia of this hurt a little. I'm now 15, and studying for my exams. Younger me would.. nah, she wouldn't be proud, she'd be confused as heck. Still, thank you for this, it made my heart ache.

God, I remember as a kid I would wake up every morning and play pokemon black/white or diamond/pearl/platinum, I would swap them every once in a while until eventually, it was morning again. I remember all the times me and my brother battled, and when I would get mad at him for being better than me..haha. nowadays it's just me, playing the same games again and again, hopelessly searching for that innocent childlike wonder I felt as a kid. I will always remember the pokemon games fondly. Even now, hearing the music makes me tear up, aswell as the rush of fighting against my favorite characters. Sometimes, I still feel like my old self. I feel the most happy when playing pokemon black/white :*)

@North-EastI don't know about you, but I really disliked Gen 6. HGSS, DPP, BW and B2W2, ORAS, and SM were all great. XY was just lackluster for me. The transition to 3D was rough for Pokémon. They got it under control with ORAS and SM, though.

@@primarinegaming6761 I loved it too. To me, being a teenager at the time who just loved pokemon for what it was, I played through X so many times, enjoying myself every time. I can understand people not liking the game, but I'm not very critical when it comes to games. No complaints from me :)

For the first ten minutes or so, this indeed was relaxing and helpful in getting me to work. But then 11:48 popped up and I got too emotional to work, doesn't help that 13:47 followed right after. Me being a Johto and Unova fan, this shit hit like a truck holy hell.

After beating the league and being the champion for a year you were finally taken down but you notice Lillie with the new champion as your run to hug her, she hugs you back and you talk and then a couple days later you invite her to a day on the beach and finally as your done walking she squats down and looks at the beautiful ocean as you sit next to her and do the same. You missed this life the one before you became champion and your finally happy to be with Lillie again.

Diamond and Pearl are so nostalgic and special for me, they were the first games I played as a child. Of course I had a go at playing the Gameboy ones too, but because they were my sister's games, I seldom often had the chance. But when Diamond and Pearl came out along with the new DS Lite at the time, I was so excited! I saved up for months every penny of pocket money i received, and finally brought a DS and Pearl version. I played it non stop for months! Such happy memories!

For some reason, XY/SM sticks with me the most. I think its because I played those more than the others. Did play FR on GBA, and that's pretty good for GBA limitations.
To everyone who's studying this music:
Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate 💦
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time 🔋
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late-night study session, you won't wake up anyone, 🎧
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well. ☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/ phone, a few pens, paper, or whatever you need. 📖
Anything else you could need, what about a heating pad, a blanket, a good lamp, or your pet so you have a study buddy 🐕
Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.
