"Is it such a delicacy, where is it everybody?" haha AB sense of humor at his finest.
How I miss Anthony!! There will never ever be another as charismatic, articulate , intelligent and kind!!
Yes! I miss him too.
lol kind I don’t know if you know him or got him at all. But I do indeed miss the man but I wouldn’t describe him as being nice
Bourdain was truly the best travel chef in the business, and always will be! no-one else could match his energy and humor
I cannot stop smiling watching these...nor do I wish to. Just such a treat.

Presentation of Japanese cuisine is so much more diligent and exciting than any other presentation style.
It is very exciting! Thanks for watching.
Its interesting watching this episode after watching the new doco about Anthonys life, where the directors talk about this early filming experience with Anthony. They talk about how awkward and quiet he was. The complete opposite of what they needed for the show. They thought it was all going to be a disaster.
"..its trump card is a highly lethal poison. So naturally, the Japanese consider it a delicacy."
You gotta love him
This man got me interested as a kid in traveling especially to Japan. I grew up on No Reservations on the travel channel and it made me wanna go to Japan just to eat. RIP auto this foodie legend
have you gone?
have you gone?
I always enjoyed his excursions in Tokyo. Seeing him with the Geishas bought a smile to my face. RIP Anthony.
Those fries had to be microwaved. Anthony is an absolute legend. Do genuine.
I,truly miss Mr.Anthony.
He traveled the world and taught me several things.
My,dream is to visit Japan.
This man is a culinary legend in regards to entertainment
Its hard to watch him when he worries about dying. It doesn't make sense. He was perfect in his imperfection. I love and miss him more than anyone we else I've never met. May we meet again, however tangentially in the next incarnation. And may peace find us all
Wow that's awesome!👍
American culinary traditions have been to make the food the same in New York as it is in Los Angeles.

The bullet trains in Japan are one of the most successful examples of biomimicry, which is when humans take inspiration from wild animals. They saw how kingfishers can dive straight down into water and make very little splash. At first glance this might seem counterintuitive given the speed of their dive. The bill shape of diving kingfishers have quantifiable differences compared to terrestrial-feeding species and they allow for superior hydrodynamics, including minimizing drag. The problem with bullet trains at first was they'd exit the tunnels at such high speeds that the force of the air it pushed in front of it was destructive and potentially deadly. By designing the nose of the trains to be more like a kingfisher's bill, that is no longer an issue and obviously it had the added benefit of reducing drag in open areas (thus improving fuel efficiency).
Anthony (Bordain), Andrew (Zimmern) and Adam (Richman) had my most favorite shows to watch! And yes, in that order! Thanks guys.
Woooooo so nice
"Shouldn't you be doing something"
Forgot to mention in a friend way
This was great, how it went from this amazing show to the off the rails nonsense on CNN is anyone's guess.
I wish you could have found that zen-like stillness when you really needed it.
Is it just me or is the aspect ratio off?
It is very off
TV ratio 4:3 video format.
Anthony showed me that there is life after heroin.
Love Anthony, but they are definitely not geishas 😅
Sucks he committed suicide, I love this guy. I'm on the brink of doing what he did.....sorry to say 😓
Hey Rod it’s never worth it! I’ve been where you are, please reach out, speak to some people it will get better!
That dinner looked disgusting
>whines about eating Fugu fish
>smokes cigarettes all day
yeah you're real scared of death bro. (completely disregarding his eventual demise)
It’s not about death... it is about control
Do us a favor and jump in traffic. Dude is a legend. What tf have you done with your life lol. Nothing I’m gonna imagine
You sound like a blast to be around...
I don't recommend anyone to smoke but usually you will still reach a relatively high age as a smoker, while something like fugu can very well kill you as a young man, before you had the chance to experience life.
I wouldn’t really call that whining
