Omg this band... Their songs aren't the most catchy/melodic when you first hear them but somehow they are the most magnetic sound I've ever heard. They are so polished and have a vocalist that has the voice of an angel. Can not get enough of them

As an Englishman 14 years in Sydney and a leaning to all things Indie with the 90's having been my glory years I've been a big fan and have followed these boys a few years now. This is their time. This album will get them noticed globally. I saw Oasis in Leeds Poly student union in '94. I'm getting flashbacks. I'm not saying they sound like Oasis because they don't really. Their last few tunes have ranged from The Seahorses to The Charlatans to The Music. It's just a genre of music that they are nailing, not trying to be like anyone. Live, they are superb. I'm excited for them.
To me they sound more like REM. The singer could be Michael Stipe's brother.
Totally agree with you also as a fellow Englishman also been in Australia 14 years this band I feel are as good as any I have seen in the UK and the Madchester years were huge.
Bit of Puressence in there too, saw them the other night in Leeds - great stuff.

Brilliant tune, loving this new album, a more more mature sound, definitely an improvement from the earlier stuff which was still good.

Bro that is proper random I mean who the fuck said best band since Gomez this comment deserves loads more likes , that is golden Gomez were the shit back in my day I think they came out like 1999/2000 they were unlike anything else when it came to vocals cos the geezer with the glasses who looked like he was studying i.t at uni sounded like a old black blind blues man from the 30s he just had a natural way to sing like that , then they had the one with sweeter voice wich worked as a perfect balance and they could all play well all I had was there first 2 LPs but they were back to back brilliant , I remember critics throwing tantrums in what to label them with one track howlin blues driving guitars another one backpack hip hip beats early beck and a long flamenco song with about 3 different parts , I gotta go dig them out of my collection I literally haven't thought of them since fuckin ages and I'm gonna have a beer n skin one up thank u so much , the comments spun me out , but you made my day super

I really hope this album is as good as the first one. This song is pumping!!
You might be disappointed with first listen. This tune is as rock and roll as it gets. Mostly laid back chilled love/pop songs. It's still very good but you have to give it 3 or 4 listens
Had a few listens today. Think its ok. Not as good as the first but i still like it. Watching them in Manchester tomorrow. Cant wait!!
Definite grower. If you can listen to it for what it is and not expecting every track to be Live Forever. Think they got sick of the comparisons and stereotype/labelling. They've mostly shaken that off with this offering. I'm really liking it now after my initial surprise

Enjoy the gig. I live in Sydney and have seen them three times from a pub to the bigger theatres that they play now. I'm also from UK and saw Oasis in '94 at Leeds Met Uni student union. DMA's are incredible live. You are in for for treat. I see them here in Sydney again in June. Have a top night!
