It is very sad how JW are trapped. The JW leaders (The Governing Body-9 dudes) are viewed as God. The leaders keep them on the Armageddon Wheel. They keep JWs in a constant state of flight or fight, they tell them not to worry about retirement or getting old because Armageddon is only a few short years away-the Armageddon Wheel. We have no relationship with our JW family anymore simply because we refused to obey or idolize the Governing Body.

    Thank you for your videos.
We can't find hope and peace in this world but there is Someone that can give us true hope and peace.
Because he Loved us: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Because of his Grace: Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Because of Hope: Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

JW's currently aren't going to heaven. That concept is strange to them. They will protest when you talk about heaven as if it was a pagan concept. They are going to live in paradise. Which is on earth.
Most of us christians are so used to talking about heaven as if it is some out of this universe place that we don't define or anything. It's a concept we don't do well with. And I don't think we should spend too much energy on that matter even, but it helps to understand that JWs "not going to heaven" is just semantics. Unless you learn what JWs really believe, and take the time to have a real human to human conversation that isn't just about bible-back-and-forth with some of them and learn what they personally believe and try to understand it

Only members of the 144,000 who are destined to live in heaven are meant to partake. The communion is passed around because there is always the possibility that one or two of the congregation may believe they are of that group, and they will partake. This is very rare now, since it is believed most of that group have already lived and died, but there are still a few around. In one congregation I knew, there were two ladies who believed they were of that class, and they partook of the communion. This is not questioned by the elders or anyone else: if someone believes they are of that group, that is accepted. However, even if no congregation members are known to be of that group, the assumption is made that someone could have newly begun to believe they are of that group, and the communion is passed around to cover that possibility.
For visitors to the Memorial who are not Jehovah's Witnesses, if one of such visitors takes the communion, that may show their total lack of knowledge of what the communion means to Jehovah's Witnesses, but if done with knowledge, then I think it is very disrespectful of them and their beliefs, although I doubt they would react to it other than maybe give you funny looks. If it seemed to be from ignorance, then I think they would accept that, but someone may speak to you in a calm way about the real meaning of the communion. You would not be booted out of the meeting or anything, though. Jehovah's Witnesses are invariably mild-mannered, courteous, and unaggressive.

I can't comment on that. Some of their doctrines have changed at various times, so maybe they once said that.
But I had sporadic contact with, in turn, a few Jehovah's Witness congregations from the mid 1970s to maybe a little past 2000, and I don't believe I ever heard that mentioned during that period. And I read some of the books and quite a few Watchtower and Awake! magazines, too, and I'm sure this would have been mentioned it if it was a current teaching.
My impression was that members of the 144,000 were said to have been selected from various types of people from various eras, and this was based on their faithfulness to God and adherence to the teachings.
In one congregation I knew around the 1980s to 1990s, there were two ladies who believed they were of this group, and the congregation as a whole accepted their claim, and these ladies were certainly not of the Jewish Nation.
Actually, having two members of the class in one congregation was probably very unusual even back in the 1990s, when it was acknowledged that, by then, in those "late times", very, very few of that class would likely be still alive in this world.
To my knowledge, no attempt was made by the organization to count how many of that class were still alive in recent times, and when someone claimed to be of that class, no attempt was made to determine whether they really were or not.

For him to attempt to tell Jehovah's Witnesses his own truth on their own home territory would have been a complete waste of time. I have known a number of Jehovah's Witnesses (never been one myself, though), and they are incredibly steadfast in staying with their beliefs - and they can back up everything they believe from the Bible. I can promise you that you would have precisely zero results if you walked into a Kingdom Hall and tried to evangelize to Jehovah's Witnesses about your own version of Christianity.
Even if you believe in the idea of evangelizing, there is sense in knowing when is the right time to do it, and when is the wrong time.
(And why do different versions of Christianity have to evangelize to each other anyway? Even if they believe only Christians have the truth, why can't they accept that there is more than one form of Christianity, and not have the narrowness or arrogance to each believe their own variety is the only truth?)

Jesus said to the apostles that”I appoint unto you a kingdom as my Father has appointed unto Me. That ye may eat and drink at My table in My Kingdom and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” This leads me to think “communion” was restricted to the apostles and those that eventually become part of the 144000. Often times Jesus words were strictly for the apostles edification so it does make me question whether “communion” was meant only for the “elect”, the 144000, or open to all to partake of in remembrance. Any supporting documentation welcome.

This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

      Hi Stephen,
I really appreciate your question and your willingness to seek after truth.
Heaven is the throne of God and the dwelling place of angels and the souls of those who die. Meaning when a person dies here in this age, their soul goes to be with the Lord in Heaven and their body goes back to the earth. This comes out of 2 Corinthians 5. It is further established by the first half of the verse you referenced in Revelation 20:4 ”Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.“
      ‭‭
Here we see that the souls of those who had been beheaded are in Heaven with Christ but when he says that they then came to life, he means they came to life bodily, which he references at the end of verse 5 when he says, “This is the first resurrection.” Resurrection means not spiritually but bodily. 1 Corinthians 15 explains that at resurrection, the spirit of a person, that is in Heaven, will come to meet their body on earth, and create their new glorified body, which will dwell eternally with God. (1 Thessalonians 4) During Christ’s millennial reign on the earth and thereafter in the New Heavens and the New Earth. (Revelation 21)
      Great question!
      God bless,
      Colton

@@stephenwlodarczyk175 It seems like the issue you’re having is the belief that at some point in death, there is a state of unconsciousness. In the story that Jesus tells about Lazarus and the rich man, after both of them die physically, they are still alive spiritually. However, one of them is in spiritual life while the other is in spiritual death. So you can die, both physically and spiritually, but you are never unconscious. Everyone is eternal. We will either have eternal life or eternal death. This is the second death that is mentioned in Revelation 20, in the section that you were talking about before. Its reference goes all the way back to the beginning when Adam and Eve were in the garden. It says that God told him, if they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that they would surely die. In the original Hebrew God tells them that in dying they would surely die. There are two deaths. So you can die physically and then also die spiritually after in Hell. Or you can die physically, but still live spiritually in Heaven. So in the Scriptures, when somebody says that a person has fallen asleep in reference to them dying, that is because they are still alive spiritually and one day their body will awake at the resurrection, when their spirit comes back into their body and creates their glorified/ eternal state.

If Jesus was God DURING HIS TIME ON EARTH, WHY DID HE PRAY TO GOD THE FATHER ASKING FOR HIS GLORY TO BE RESTORED? This show that He had NO GLORY during His time on earth. Can God suffer pain, can God feel hungry, tired, thirsty? Can God die - BEING HUMAN, Jesus died! BEING HUMAN, Jesus prayed to God The Father YHWH saying “You are the only true God”. BEING HUMAN, Jesus said “the father is greater than I” John 14:28. BEING HUMAN, Jesus said "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the Son, but the Father only" MATTHEW 24:36.
AFTER HE ASCENDED TO HEAVEN , HE RECEIVED BACK HIS GLORY (His Name YHWH and His Title "God" - "Thy Throne O God") - Philippians 2:9. GOD THE FATHER WILL NEVER CALL ANYONE ELSE "GOD” EXCEPT HIMSELF (in the flesh)! THE IMPORTANT FACT IS WHO IS JESUS NOW IN HEAVEN, not what He was during His short time on earth!
It is very important that one should know and believe that JESUS IS GOD THE FATHER (in His Glorified Body). If this is not very important, then WHY DID JESUS SAY IN JOHN 8:24 “FOR IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM HE, YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS”. Who does the “HE” refer to? THE CONTEXT OF THIS SPEECH WAS ABOUT GOD THE FATHER. Read verse 27 "They understood not that HE SPAKE TO THEM OF THE FATHER". John 8:28 “WHEN YE HAVE LIFTED UP the Son of man (when you have unveiled ME), then shall ye know that I AM HE (then you will realize that I AM GOD THE FATHER- YHWH in the flesh form)”. Isaiah understood this and said that Jesus is THE ETERNAL FATHER. JESUS SAID THAT HE IS THE ALMIGHTY GOD in Revelation 1:8. John 14:9 "he who has seen me has seen the FATHER" - JESUS DID NOT SAY "he who has seen me has seen "His Son"!

YES, Jesus was speaking to John and said "MY GOD" 4 times because HE WAS REFERRING TO THE TIME WHEN HE WAS ON EARTH AS A HUMAN BEING, and prayed to God. NOW, in Heaven, HE IS GOD THE FATHER YHWH (in His Glorified Body). Why can't God The Father YHWH separate Himself and come to earth AS "The Son of God" TO DO HIS WILL BECAUSE "No one can see God and live" EXO 33:20?? GOD CAN BE SEPARATE BUT NOT DISTINCT! ONE GOD THE FATHER YHWH IN THREE FORMS IS STILL ONE GOD THE FATHER YHWH! JESUS SAID THAT HE IS THE ALMIGHTY GOD in Revelation 1:8! Isaiah said in Isaiah 9:6 that JESUS IS THE ETERNAL FATHER!
LET'S GO BACK TO REV 3:12 TO UNDERSTAND A VERY IMPORTANT POINT - "HALLOWED BE THY NAME" (The Lord's Prayer). WHICH NAME - "Jesus" or "YHWH"? OBVIOUSLY "YHWH" BECAUSE GOD THE FATHER WAS NEVER EVER CALLED "JESUS".
Rev 3:12 (KJV) "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I WILL WRITE UPON HIM THE NAME OF MY GOD, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I WILL WRITE UPON HIM MY NEW NAME" - ONLY ONE NAME "YHWH" WILL BE WRITTEN, WHICH IS THE NAME OF GOD, not two names!
REV 14:1 (KJV) "And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, HAVING HIS FATHER’S NAME written in their foreheads" - HOW MANY NAMES WILL BE WRITTEN ON THEIR FOREHEADS? ANSWER: ONLY ONE NAME, GOD THE FATHER'S NAME YHWH! Compare this with Revelation 3:12 "and I WILL WRITE UPON HIM MY NEW NAME" - SO, HIS NEW NAME WILL BE YHWH!
I WORSHIP THE ONE GOD THE FATHER WHO MANIFESTED HIMSELF AS FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT IN HIS NAME YHWH (YaHuWaH). WHEN WE WORSHIP GOD IN HIS NAME YHWH (YaHuWaH), WE WORSHIP THE FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT AS ALL THREE HAVE THE SAME ONE GLORIOUS/GREATEST NAME IN EARTH & HEAVEN (Philippians 2:9).

This does not mean that Paul meant Jesus was not God BECAUSE PAUL DOES CALL JESUS GOD IN MANY OTHER VERSES - Romans 9:5 “To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, WHO IS GOD over all, blessed forever. I find it very strange that you tell your congregation to pray for these people, but yet you try to entertain them by making fun of the JW beliefs. Instead of considering their beliefs, or even try to understand them, you mock them in front of your church. It is clear that you do not understand their theology. I hope this isn't your usual type of of message because I didn't hear one scripture, or one mention of your God in this message. Sounds more like you are pandering to your congregation and telling them what you think they may want to hear.

Jehovah's Witness do not have churches and neither do we have a sanctuary. Jesus died in flesh but raised in the spirit. Jesus commanded his followers to memorialize his death. So we remember the great sacrifice that Jesus made by dyeing the most horrible death. Actually NO when we take a portion of a verse we do not take it out of context. You would not have heard the word communion. Last year over 20,000,000 attended not 2 million.

Start following Christ and stop following man (the governing body). Having a governing body is not biblical. Each local church should have independent eldership and not follow instructions from a higher position in an organisation. God desires to build his organic body of Christ, not any organisation. Satan runs the watchtower to lead people away from Christ.
