He minds his business, and I mind my own. I pay on time, and give extra money for the electric bill to make sure there is not an issue for having to run the A/C in the summer months. That’s what roommates should do to live with each other peacefully, and not trying to use one another. This couple is trifling, and sorry. Went to college at 18. My high school classmate and I was supposed to get an apt the 2nd year but I changed my mind and got 1 by myself. Her bf was an absolute idiot that tried sleeping with all her gf and she didn't believe it. She moved in with another classmate and it was a disaster. I don't think we would be friends today had we been roommates 33 years ago. My daughter finished college with no roommates. She worked the entire time she was in college. Guys were always trying to be her roommate but we would discuss how impractical it was to live with somebody you are dating. If the shit breaks up how is that going to go? Bad all the way around.
