Its vids like this that i decided to get the XT2 SLX 50 and will be getting the snowblower attachment. The XT1's have the TL 200 transmission. That work load of snow will take many years off its life. It was never designed to do that type of snow removal.
Snow blower does better clean job down to the pavement and it does not to take to many trips as you did. I own John Deer lawn mower but decide to own a second stage snow blower.
I'm guessing he's got the tractor idled down enough not to spin or over torque transaxle one of those cases were you're not going to win on the stress put on it.
Which plow setup is that? I’m looking at the Arnold setup. I already have the tire chains, and since i weigh roughly 320lbs I figure I shouldn’t need the wheel weights...
Hey there, I'm moving to a new house with 3/4 acre of grass to mow, and I have a 70 foot long straight driveway. I will need a ride on mower and my hand me down blower just bit the dust last winter and it clogged every 5 feet on the heavy snow in Atlantic Canada. If you had the choice on a day like the one in the video would you rather be doing this or have a snowblower? This attachment is only $500 but a decent snowblower is $1500+
Christopher W snowblowers are great and i do love my snotek. But we are very close to the ocean here, and when it says 12” of fluff we usually get 3” of concrete so it’s better to push than throw.
You haft too get out and plow it. Several times during the storm. So don't have so much at once no little tractor is going too push two foot of snow with ease
You had the throttle up in your shed... But some reason turn it down when your trying plow.... And second you need to just push it man .. Your blade is cut to the left ... So the snow resistance is gunna push you machine to the right ... You need to cut it harder left to begins with ... And just keep it revved up ... Why are you playing the throttle .. Keep that shit pinned ... Stop playing games .

I like my cub cade 2 stage snow blower for that, it keeps going with not backing up.
