Txai Resort - Itacaré

The Txai Resort is situated on the stunning Itacarezinho Beach, 48 km from Ilhéus, the closest airport, and 15 km from downtown Itacaré. The resort occupies a small portion of a former 92 hectares coconut and cocoa plantation that, today, is part of an environmental protection area. The 38 bungalows and apartments are spread out in the reforested and beautifully landscaped property, either close to the beach or on the hillside, with incredible ocean views. They all feature air conditioning, TV, king-sized bed, wifi, hair drier, a mini-bar, and a personal safe, and a spacious bathroom. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the onsite restaurants which serve Bahian cuisine mixed with international influences. Organic produce is sourced locally from farmers that participate in the Companions of Txai social program. On the environmental front, they are committed to a minimal impact operation, applying sustainable practices and promoting conservation through projects like the Txaitaruga, which already helped 60 thousand turtles.
