My husbands heritage is from Goa so its the first choice when thinking of moving back to India. We do hope that it will be a positive step for our young family however time will tell. I guess every person will have a different opinion. Goa might be a small state, but there are enough varieties / locations for everybody. But one must spend some time to see if it's the right place for them.
People have asked me this question many times over. This is when I've only made annual visits to Goa and not stayed more than a month on those trips. The transport situation is the biggest misery of being in Goa. Plus, that North Indians aren't really loved by Goans. I'm still wondering whether to move fully to Goa. Maybe not.
Yes, gotta have your own vehicle - otherwise impossible to live! :) Totally true. Btw, even north Indians don't love other north Indians :D I am a Bihari migrant and get loved by Goans! What more do you want? :) Without a 'survey' it's just one perception over others. Till we have any 'data' we can choose to believe what we want. :)
