The effects of prayer are self-fulfilling - like a placebo. Anyone who thinks differently should conduct their own research... research which will most definitely (like countless experiments have in the past) bring you to the conclusion that prayer works about as good as chance, and only works to potentially lift the spirits of those who KNOW the praying is being done and are open to the possibility of it "working". I saw no mocking of children in David's tweet, and believe it takes the same sort of fool to have seen it that way.

People ARE watching! Parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and all who are being victimised by these murderous acts of violence. The odds of a child having to experience these frightening violences are INCREASING! If, as a parent sending your child to school, you were given the knowledge that a "mass school shooting" would be taking place somewhere in America today, most good parents would keep their child home for the day no matter what state they lived in. As a responsible gun owner, I keep all arms locked up and bolted to the floor. But, if the day should come, I would gladly give up all arms to keep the children safe. And if I were raising my children in this day and age, I would be home schooling them just as my sons and daughters are doing with their own children. We as a family, believe that if the government wants you to send your child to school, the government MUST help protect them while at school, and they are not protecting them.
Those people will always find a way to turn things into something bad. How Christian are they to always find negativity to go after someone 🙄

In the hours after a mass shooting at a christian school, which took the lives of 6 people including 3 young children, I don't understand how David could possibly think to tweet something so horrific as to say in essence "it's a shame the kids and their families didn't pray harder".

Many Australians have guns. For hunting or on farms. Rules are so very strict though. Heaps of checks before can get a gun licence and must have a valid reason. Not self defence. Have to be a farmer or member of a gun club. Criminal jailable offence if u break any of the rules.
Special storage requirements.
Bullets and guns cannot be stored together.
Police do random check at least yearly.
Gun can not be out of cabinet unless you are on way to or from hunting trip for example. If cops catch u with a gun on you or in your car you going to jail or are in big trouble.
Every time you want to take gun from your locked cabinet you must call police and resgister all details of what, why, when. Also have to call them when it is returned and locked back up. Etc etc.
Absolutely slashed gun violence. Those are the facts.

I’ve hunted my entire life and I’d gladly give up all my other firearms except for an old Remington 870 12 ga and a Winchester model 97 that was my grandfathers but all my semi automatics I’d give up if it made America a safer place. Hell if it made this country safer I’d even make those two long guns inoperable. 30 yrs ago I wouldn’t have said that but I’ve had enough of the violence and endless massacres. In the hours after a mass shooting at a christian school, which took the lives of 6 people including 3 young children, I don't understand how David could possibly think to tweet something so horrific as to say in essence "it's a shame the kids and their families didn't pray harder".
I've been a fan of David for over 5+ years, and it breaks my heart to say this but this is the most disgusting thing I've ever heard David say, and I hate to say this but I'm considering completely distancing myself from his content after this tweet.

Yeah, Trump talks tough but he's probably crapping his pants over this. For once a Trump is going to be held accountable. I just know it. Too much is out there to let it slide. For generations, the Trump crime family hasn't conducted their businesses above board from what I've read. Trump was just conducting business the way his dad always did. Trump was just arrogant enough to run for president so all this came out in the open. If he didn't run, it would still be happening and we'd be none the wiser.
