Proof crowd can affect perception. Nice small card easy to watch all matches with steaks. PLE being on streaming and more affordable makes it easier to have smaller shows. The time each match got was dope too… while Bayley/Cody/Damien matches didn’t get a lot of build they all had good showings. People complain about long AEW shows but if I was spending $50 + I’d want 14 + match cards too.
The fewer matches and longer match times i enjoyed. nothing felt rushed which happens sometimes. AEW does have a lot even for the 50 dollar price lol. They should start earlier imo

What chant can kill a slow build promo sometimes. Naomi had one moment where she was out way too long but wasn’t distracting. Jey looked like a star honestly but he was giving major young buck energy with all the super kicks. I need Fin as champion this year. Jey needs a good feud not a title shot right away. I was happy to see the tag title go long… seeing Jade take some offense was good it was showing respect to the champions.
the what chants take away from a promo at times. Jey should have feuds without a title involved. Seeing Jade take moves was a plus because many expected her to not take any
Crowd made the show. That could have been a good Raw episode, but the crowd made it feel like an event. I think the women were better than the men overall. More entertaining. The street fight was awkward early but was good overall. Lotta weapon usage. 3.5/5 Triple threat, Naomi fine. But she did sit out the ring a long time after something not devastating. I thought she went to the bathroom or something. But they did some nice stuff. The roll up finishers tho! 3/5 Kabuki vs Kabooti was better than expected. The ref saying legal person was weird because how could she then tag Asuka in? I need that explained. Kairi been doing off stuff. But this was the best match from the Kabukis since the reunion. Jade looked stiff and awkward at times. Bianca was outside for a really long time too. 3.5 /5 Didn’t watch main event. I might after your review. But they don’t interest me. 0/5 😂😂😂
Good review lol As far as the ref situation, if he says you're not legal, then you have to allow your partner in in order for them to pin the opponent. Kairi decided to do the armbar spot which have away when they did it a fee minutes later
I brought up the fact this Kari (could be language barrier) 2nd time making Jade look a little silly ppl said I was reaching. Jade having a title you definitely gone see the titles defended now. Anything attached to Belair gone be featured.
@@RShaun last time they were in a match there were weird timing issues and when Jade did a baby face run in Kari took forever to leave the ring. It took away from Jade looking like the Babyface hero. In this last Backlash show as much as the match was good Kari fumbled (not tagging in) and failed to correct and took many out of the match. If she wasn’t a vet I’d think it was mistake but miscommunication could have been the issue.
I knew jade was going to have a title within 4 months I just didnt think it was going to be a tag title... one if them will turn bad so the can face each other at the next wrestlemaina.. and I blame Kairi but I don't think she understands English so because things went off script jade was moving around like she was hurt for too long making her look bad for a second... its a good amount of tag potential in the woman's division... they just got to stay healthy.. im not a fan of Cody as champion so I give the entire show an 8

Kairi has been slipping with going against Bianca and Jade. I expected more from her
