Things You Never Knew You Really Needed: Welpers or MIG Welding Pliers

In this video I take a closer look at an interesting pair of pliers that I picked up at a recent car boot sale or flea market.
Today we take a look at Welpers or MIG welding pliers. Welpers were originally designed by the Pearson company who shortened welders helper to Welper, the part number is YS-50. This pair of MIG welding pliers was made by the Marksman company.
In this video I explain what Welpers are used for and how to use them.
Like any other good design the Welper has been copied by many companies world wide.

Always an interesting discovery! I would like to see them used to drive a nail. But I think it would probably bend the needle nose plier section a little
