- I decided to go explore my city for books via my little free libraries! I was able to haul and unhaul a bunch of books and it was so fun to see all the different little free libraries all over my city! A big thanks to Celadon Books for sending me two ARCS of Love People Use Things, in order to leave them at two different Little Free libraries!

I'd love to make a lil free library too! Really hope you share videos of it if you decide to. Ya don't gotta be crafty to get 'er done. In Canada it's a few hundred dollars to register on their website - being the only reason I haven't created a LFL yet. But there is one I visit regularly on my road to work.

I've traveled to more countries than I count.. I see Little Free Libraries all over the world. It's so wonderful 💚 best ones I've seen are in Australia!

I love this video! I live in a small town and we had one here, but when the pandemic started and the libraries were closed an Eagle Scout built 4 more! So I drop off books a lot and I’m always reorganizing them. Lol. I can’t stand a messy little free library.
Hosting a Little Free Library is so fun! A little pricey to build but well worth it. I’ve had mine for 6 months and it gets a lot of use. Go for it!
We have 3 of these within walking distance of my house, I love unhauling books to them! I pretty rarely find books I want within them haha but I think it’s way more fun leaving books than taking! I’d love to build one for our yard in the future too for when my kids are big enough to pick out and give away their own books 😊

We have one next door and it's SO convenient....especially during the lockdown.
I love LFL! We have a couple around my town and I always do this when I need to give away books. Makes me feel so much better that someone can use them other than me 🙂

Saving Mr Terupt is amazing book!!!!! It’s a middle grade book and my daughter and I read it together and we loved it. Highly recommend!

I love going to share my books in the free little libraries. It’s usually I only find one or 2 for myself but makes me feel good to pass my books on. I’m in uk

Loved this video. My partner built a Little Free Library which is placed at our house and it is doing really well. (In Australia) I think they are wonderful and ours got lots of use during lockdown

this was so fun to watch! there used to be a LFL near me, but it was taken out for some reason. i will have to check out the website ~ i have more than a few dozen books i could give away. 😂 i love that you found so many…i probably would’ve taken the same titles you did {though i do already own, but have yet to read, The Alice Network}. thanks again for a such a fun vlog📚💞

There were soooo many of them!!! 😱 There's only a couple here in the uk and none for hundreds of miles where I live :(
I'm also UK based!! There's one in the little village I live in but it's kind of been ruined back of TLC and people just started dumping piles and piles of unwanted books outside of it now that just get rained on and destroyed:( soooo sad!

If you build it they will come. When they come they will then want to build one of there own. Now there will be more LFL's in your area to visit.

I checked that website for little libraries in the UK. Contrary to my original thoughts, they do exist here, but mainly around London. There is only one in my city and it's not easy to get to.
Maybe, one day I'll put one in my front drive. I'm not sure what the planning regs would be.

Tips from OWNERS of little book shops would be appreciated. What should I know before setting one up? What do you wish you had known? Have you had anyone ruin the box or the books, leave rubbish etc? Thanks heaps :)

I wish I had more little free libraries. Many people don't donate...Too sad. I read Year of Billy Miller to my daughter when she was younger...I highly recommend it.
Whenever I go to little libraries in my area it’s always chicken noodle soup, pregnancy books, stuff about religion and stuff like that 😩
Little libraries are in different countries.
I have 3 in my neighborhood. One of them is two doors down! Sad thing is it is kind of camouflaged behind a row of cars. It's a police officer's home and well when all the defunding and harming police, sadly he had to put a row of vehicles parked in front of his house to protect his family. We don't live in a dangerous area, but you do have crazy people out there. But I just swapped out the book Shipped for The Last Guest House. I was sent two copies of Shipped, so I did that. I've been wanting to hunt frien the others within 30 minutes of my house, I just take didn't want to do it alone. But grabbing a coffee and driving around I may do soon. We were going to build one, but the neighbors went crazy on everybody wanting to build one, lol. That's why we're have 3 in our small little neighborhood. One is kid books only.

Sadly there are none in my area and I live in the middle of nowhere so I doubt many people would venture out here if I built my own
