One of the only musicians who sound better live than on record. I feel like he has more liberty to let loose and shine.
Take a look to Dallas Green.
100% agree
I love his studio versions, it's how I was introduced....but HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! His live performances are literally unprecedented
Got to see him last fall in DC with his dad on bass- just the two of them brought the house down. Chatted with him afterwards and hands down one of the nicest, down to earth guys you could hope to meet. He loves/respects his dad and the craft and it shows.
The Vlieland-beach is a perfect place for live music ...
I’m awestruck. In my 50 years I’ve heard a lot and been at a lot of gigs. This is the best I’ve ever seen played live. Period.
I've been enjoying his music since Paupers Field and I was lucky enough to watch Dylan play a small intimate gig in Chester last week. Just himself and an accoustic guitar, he was fantastic. Also told really cool stories in-between songs, just seemed a really friendly guy, I'd highly recommend catching one of his shows sometime.
I saw him last week a performance in Breda (Netherlands). What an amazing band and incredible singer. I have never seen a singer/guitarist before who so powerfully emanates his soul's strength through his solar plexus during a performance. In my opinion, Dylan is a very spiritual soul who, prior to his incarnation in this life, studied how to express his soul's strength during his work while remaining calm. This life is just a brief pause. Not too much. how beautiful it is to do it this way. The use of his voice and high notes also conveys a sense of spirituality while retaining his identity. He was accompanied by a fantastic bassist (I later learned he was his brother), an older soul who gives Dylan a foundation, but may suddenly depart. That's how it felt at that moment. The other guitarist is the gatekeeper of love and harmony, it's amazing how he creates solos that soar to great heights. The keyboardist's contribution brought heavenly sounds. Careful not to ascend too much :) But it all came together wonderfully, and was held together with beautiful accents from the drummer. My god... it was wonderful.
Just caught him and the band by accident at Pilgrimage in Tennessee this past weekend and was blown away by them and their sound! Beyond excited to have discovered a new band!! Can’t wait to see them again
I just heard this for the first time today. I don't know what to say. The best music I've heard for many, many, years. For the love of Pete, I hope they will come to play in New England. I've listened to these guys for the past four hours and I'm dancing all over the house! Beautiful! Brilliant! Wonderful!
This vid deserves so so so many more views. These guys are doing it right.

And, can't tell, an AC15 but maybe a 30, some kind of tweed Fender, twin reverb maybe, and its cousin the blackface in the background - doesn't look like a stock fender bass amp tho
