doesn't surprise me that Bon was a fan of Free. That was a killer rock and roll band. They were straight ahead blues rock , no gimmicks or fancy clothes , nothing but great rock and roll. Much like ACDC , although I suppose Angus and his outfit could be considered a gimmick. But I believe they'd have been just as huge if he'd worn jeans and a t-shirt like Malcolm and the others did.

Great interview with Irene, she seems like a lovely lady. I always thought there was a little Alex Harvey in Bon and i'd figured the Young brothers were into Free which brings me to a track Paul Kossoff's new band "Back Street Crawler" recorded in 1975 from the album "The Band Plays On" titled " It's a long way down to the top" hmmm sound familiar, cheeky Bon.
