This week we remove the sticky tar sound deadener from our 60 Series Landcruiser using dry ice. It's very cold, looks cool and definitely works!

Makes me wonder if you can just smack the resin with a soft-head hammer a bunch of times to separate the lot. Or a big bastard hammer drill with a chisel bit :)
The hammer drill would probably go really well. Plenty of ways to skin a cat!
