@@GriffinMagleby There is a psychology behind it haha that is what I at least found out when I googled it myself because I was wondering why I was feeling the way I feel when listening to my own voice. ahhh that is an interesting article. Makes sense! I was majoring in business, however, I only took a couple semesters of college and so I took mostly general classes.
@@GriffinMagleby ahh that really is interesting to me because here in Germany you really have to choose a major then commit to it. I have heard that some people in the US dabble in a variety of courses and then decide on a major, did I understand that correctly?
I also saw how much college costs and man oh man I am glad to receive an education here in Germany. I would probably only attend community college in the US. Do community colleges have a bad rep or will you hypothetically not get a job due to a community college degree, or does that not matter so much as I think it does.
Yeah, so most majors in the US require that you take some "general" classes like science, math, art, health, etc. So what I did was take all of my general classes and not very many business classes. But yeah a lot of people in the US will change their major but the big downside is you spend so much time and money on one major so starting over can be an expensive mistake. Getting a degree at a well known university can help you stand out and make it easier to get a job in big companies like Google or Apple, but if you are just trying to get a standard job somewhere, then community college works just fine. It really depends on what you want.

I'm an American that found the love of my life on Facebook. He's Indonesian and lives in West Java. I wasn't even looking for a boyfriend (nor him a girlfriend), and we somehow connected and it was like love at first sight, text, and video chat... then love at first meet in person. :) We bonded over similar music interests, and I fell in love with his genuine, caring, and funny personality. Fast forward several months after first talking to him, and now we're married and I also live in Indonesia with him. This somehow happened even in the middle of a pandemic. My point is, don't ever give up on finding love! You can find it! And don't listen to anyone else's toxicity and let them tell you any different! ;)

I definitely got more comfortable on omegle the more I practiced and I do think it helped me a little bit with social interaction irl just because it gave me some practice carrying a conversation but i still get a bit anxious in real life interaction and I think practicing more irl will be the best way for me to improve there.
