The second demo tape was originally given to a mate of Keith Flint's, Kean by Leeroy Thornhill when Kean accompanied them playing bongos live on stage at the rave event Eclipse '91.
Leeroy had given the tape to Kean to help him learn the material they'd be performing. The tape had stayed "underground" until now. In collaboration with www.brainkiller.it the tape was finally revealed to the "masses" some 15 years later. - Hudba

The Prodigy Freakquently Blowin Your Mind
Wish this song was on Spotify.
Prodigy is a sound all of its own.
@Diddds79 It was originally Liam (Keys), Maxim Reality (MC), Keith Flint (Dancer), Leeroy Thornhill (Dancer) and Sharky (Dancer). Sharky left by Experience, Leeroy left in 2000. Its been a trio ever since (Tho Liam did a DJ album and AONO, they never broke up). They are named the Prodigy due to Liams love for one of his first boards, The Moog Prodigy.
Keith was also a vocalist
@@veggie42 he only became a vocalist after 96 and on
Liam is ' The Prodigy ' ....no one can touch him..

I recommend you to:
1. choose a simple program like Fruity Loops (you can do good stuff with it, really)
2. Watch some tutorials on the web. I'm sure there is on CZcams
3. Choose some tracks that you do a cover on, just to train your confedence to handle the program.
4. Start playing around with the program and have fun!!
I had a similar album you don't happen to have a track list do you
Very random that this song would make you want to do that, but I agree Subie RS' are sweeeeet. So is the song!

Its a demo tape that liam recored. First prodigy tunes are in there
We do have to admit that he did used sample a lot of breaks and synths from house/techno tunes of the era though.
@messthetics Yes indeed. Pretty sure I've heard Orbital samples in his early tunes and Belgian techno, R&S and stuff. But let's keep it a secret lol.

@cjlewis79 hey thanks for the info, i never knew they were a 5 piece group so who is sharky?
kurt selvester Girl who only dances, but she lefted the group in 1991
ok I'm also a member of this religion where Liam is the god
@OxLxIxVxExR thats the shit right there!
ok so let me get this right the prodigy was originally a 4 piece band comprising of 2 dancers 1 mc and 1 pa liam howlett being the pa so why are they called the prodigy?
The Prodigy were founded in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by keyboardist and songwriter Liam Howlett. He had taken piano lessons in his youth and gained the ability to play difficult passages in just a few run-throughs.[6] After he decided to pursue a music career, Howlett met dancer and vocalist Keith Flint in mid-1989 during an outdoor night party at which Howlett was spinning records. After Flint requested Howlett make a mix tape for him, Howlett obliged, returning a cassette several days later with a collection of his own songs on the other side.[7] Howlett had scratched the word "Prodigy" onto the cassette, the same name as the Moog Prodigy analogue synthesizer,[8] and Howlett's moniker.[9] The tape was well-received by Flint and keyboardist Leeroy Thornhill who developed new dance sequences to the music and suggested to Howlett they begin a group together.[9] They were soon joined by MC and vocalist Maxim, then known as Maxim Reality, and female dancer and vocalist Sharky, a friend of Flint's. Together they became the first line-up of the Prodigy.[9]
The group's first live gig occurred at Four Acesin Dalston, London.[10][9] With a group secured, Howlett wrote, produced, and mixed a 10-track demo tape on a Roland W-30 sampling workstation keyboard, and approached Tam Tam Records with the hope of securing a record deal, but they declined.[11] He then turned to XL Recordings, headed by Nick Halkes and Tim Palmer, who agreed to a meeting and subsequently picked up the demo.[11] In February 1991, the band released the extended play What Evil Lurks on 12-inch vinyl, containing four songs that Howlett had produced on the demo.
In August 1991, the Prodigy released their debut single "Charly",[12] which samples dialogue from the Charley Says series of animated films produced by the Central Office of Information. It became a hit in the rave scene at the time,[13] and reached number 3 on the UK Singles Chart, thus catapulting the band into the wider public attention.[14] The success of "Charly" began a trend of mixing dance and "hardcore rave" tracks with cartoon samples, such as "A Trip to Trumpton" by Urban Hype and "Sesame's Treet" by Smart E's, which were a hit with speed and ecstasy-fuelled clubbers, but not to reviewers and critics,[15][15] who dismissed the music as "kiddie rave" or "toytown techno".[16]
why i dont understand
@chillraph best comment ever
well, if you search a little bit you can find the tape on the internet dude
ACID☣️
@messthetics Orbital - Oolaa being one of them, one of the many 'hotpants' breakbeats... Some of them pretty obvious. No need to ID 'drop the base!'
vidi vidi ima srba :D
i bugara
lol great game. would go well lol
dje nema
liams demo has better sound quity then the experince album lol.
rock your face
@MrFolette in some ways.. in other ways no, it's just disappeared up it's own arse.
let's whistle 0:57
digg this?
@Diddds79 lol i thought it was because he was such a wizard producer so much so that he transformed dance music hence the prodigy lol im such a dweeb i should have really googled it 1st lol he is good tho, how the hell he comes up with some of his material is unbelievable,i do think the rest of them just ride his band wagon tho cuz maxim is a terrible mc and keith just looks the part and drops a vocal now and then i really cant see where they fit in ?????????
TDK LOl:))))
@chillraph : I think that's overstating stuff a bit. Biggest group ever on the planet? Uh... yeah right. He probably sold 1.5 million records total... certainly no more than 5. So not even close.
what is it ???Magix Music Maker!!!!!!:(

un español que escucha esto jajajaj
@DaXunk85 u don't know anything about prodigy
im pretty sure he is god lol
Way better than the shite they actually released.
Even experience pales in comparison to this. Before they went their own way, better with the usual 91 breaks sound. Nothing beats good old mid 92 hardcore tho
