Here are some rough English translations for English players. I'm not sure if there are any official or community-accepted terminology for certain things (particularly attacks), so I am just going to use whatever comes to mind. Hopefully people will be able to figure out what I'm referring to: 0:08 What is the charge blade? The charge blade was introduced in MH4. It is a weapon that allows you to freely change between a sword and an axe mode. The weapon modifier is 3.6, so to get your true attack value, divide your in-game attack stat by 3.6. The weapon was not used as much in 4 as it is now. 4G/4U introduced the shield thrust, charging your shield, ultra elemental burst, the ability to do the round slash out of a sidestep, etc. Charging the shield is especially important. The duration of the charge is 30 seconds per phial loaded. Charging your shield does adds a phial burst on guard points (GP), adds phial effect to your shield thrust, strengthens your guard capabilities, adds a 1.2 modifier to the motion values of axe mode (decimals are truncated), and allows the use of the ultra elemental burst. The panel on the side of the video is going to be used to display motion values of the attack, how much charge is built up from the attack (for sword mode), if it has super armor (SA), what actions you can follow it up with, and how you can perform the attack.
1:38 Sword Mode The charge blade in sword mode works similarly to the sword and shield, but with higher attack power. Sword mode is used to build energy for your phials, which can then be used for elemental bursts. There are set thresholds for how much energy the charge blade can store, as shown by the gauge underneath your health bar. The gauge will glow yellow when you have at least 10 units of charge, red for 16 units, and will overheat at 24 units. In addition to adding an elemental burst to your GPs, charging your shield makes your guard as strong as a lance user. Advantages: able to guard, GPs, high mobility, can evade from guard Disadvantages: guarding reduces sharpness, not as much super armor, can't draw into guard, overheating causes attacks to bounce.

The attack power is okay, but it has super armor and the range is really useful. I personally use this attack a lot (that is what the text in the video says, not me the person doing these translations). It can help relieve stress when Rathalos or Gore Magala are flapping their wings...maybe.
2:32 First slash (from the X>X>X combo) Motion value: 14 Phial charge value: 1 SA: No Follow-ups: second slash, shield thrust, charge slash, transform, charge shield, evade Command: X The motion value is lower (I think they mean relative to the unsheathe attack) and doesn't have armor, but comes out quickly. However there are better starting attacks so you probably won't use this that often.
2:45 Second slash Motion value: 17 Phial charge value: 1 SA: Normally no, but if you do it as a follow-up to the charging your shield, it will have super armor Follow-ups: third slash, shield thrust, charge slash, transform, charge shield, evade Commands: X>X, evade>X, charge shield>X This can be used after a forward roll to help close in on an enemy. Go ahead and use it to attack an enemy's belly. 今更の返信ですが、
X系列のチャアクは剣状態からの(超)高出力(他作品では盾突き→XA)が削除されています。
ガード性能ガード強化が上がる護符とジンオウXの挑発スキルをあえて消さないことで、マルチでは常にカウンタータンクできるチャアクになってた笑
3日前から始めました！
