Riskey's in Fort Worth, since 1927, I sold them Wonder Bread in the 80's, still going strong.
Established in 1927.
In 1911 Polish immigrant Joe Riscky came to Fort Worth and went to work at Armour Packing Company in the Stock Yards for $9 a week. In 1912 he married fellow immigrant Mary Bunkervitch, and in 1927 they opened Riscky's Grocery & Market a few miles from the Stock Yards. When they began offering lunches featuring their homemade barbeque, "Cowtown" loved it, and the Riscky family has been in the business ever since. Serving only the best quality meats, today the Riscky family operates six great BBQ restaurants, a fine dining Steakhouse, Trailboss Burgers and full-service catering.

Barbecue around the U.S. | The Dish 1701pm 17.6.23 i had no intention of eating your animals. i was thinking: take this dish and create an alt variation on the matter or foody theme at hand... akin to the veggie version of beef wellington which i am kindda mastering. another few attempts next winter might prove dividends.. all hail the veggie BBQ!! p.s looking at this guy's culinary creations he's on his way to a coronary thrombosis in no time at all...
