    Remove the CVT stopper yes, but do NOT throw away, put it back in before a service, and when you get a speedcamera ticket, that way you can prove to the police that it is incapable of going the speed they say they clocked you at! and for removing the throttle stop... no just get it to the correct length!

      @@SimplicityForGood check if your carb has the stopper, not every carb has it. U can check by opening the maintenance hatch located under ur seat and removing the lid from the carb, just be careful because theres a spring that wants to send it to orbit. its aight to remove it if u have one :)

    do not ever toss any of your parts away people . also you can change the jet size to a larger one VS removing it total . they key is the correct combination of air , fuel and spark . Not just pouring gas into ur scoot . Mine hits 47 on a strait away , slight hill pinned at 50 . steady hill climb never drops below 25 . no special mods .

    *Remove Emissions
    *Add G- EGR Block-off Plate (GY6)
    *Add a 1/8 In. Rubber vacuum cap
    *Remove rev limiter bushing on CVT Variator
    *Remove/Cut the Pink/Purple wire on the CDI boxes harness
    *Replace stock exhaust ( internal rev limiter) with aftermarket exhaust
    *Replace stock air box w/ cone style air filter
    Tune up and....
    Should be SCOOTIN" along 🛵 vroom!

      It's just another factory restrictor, it's stopping the slide from moving all the way up and allowing maximum airflow, other than it giving you some more rpm it's not going to do any damage

    If you have a scooter with a 50 cc engine/carburetor, can you just buy a 150cc one and replace it?

      No you can not just drop a 150cc carb on a 50cc not that easily. You would be best to get an aftermarket carb that matches the diameter of the original and add a new jet to it. If you are going to upgrade the exhaust along with the carb then you can change the carb diameter. Example if you original carb is 15mm you could go to 18 - 20mm but will need to re jet and tune the carb.

    So the regulation blew on my Euro4 (lexmoto) it blew the lights, but it also made the thing go faster, higher to end, we only talking like 43/44mph - the moment I replaced the regulation it was back to normal - meaning there’s also an electronically controlled limit or somewhere - anyone why what / where / how to kill it? Thabjs

      You can also just buy a unrestricted cdi and plug it in. They aren't much money

      @@Night_demon-ic8cf yes massively. 50cc in the UK is restricted to 30mph. De restricted can do 40 or more.

      @@manostsigo8387 if it uses electronic fuel injection, then no. if it has a carburetor then there might be the same part. remove the little door in your seat compartment and check :)

    Tengo una Symfony SR E4 50cc 4t , tengo quitado el anillo del Variador( Restrincion ) , aparte le compre una E.C.U. ( Según sin restricciones )el cual con esa E.C.U. solo me alcanza 62--65 km/h , si le quito ( restrincion ; si la trae ) del carburador me alcanzaria mas velocidad.......o qué mas se le puede hacer para que alcance mas velocidad....., Gracias 👍👍👍👍

      If you have removed the throttle from the carburettor then it will definitely be 5kmh faster perhaps?
      But removing the carburettor throttle doesn't do much good - it just increases the intake noise and fuel consumption

    Removing that screw from carb cap virtually does nothing. Cut the thread off with an angle grinder then your talking.

      @@56321books I haven't mate, its easy the bit the nut screwed on just cut it off and leave a little bit at the top for the spring to sit on.
      Best way to check is move the carb slide by hand and see if.it travels all the way to the top if it dont cut more off 😉

    They spend millions doing an all-round tune for Peds etc you would think the factory could supply modifications that work properly and make them more hefty profits ...or am I missing the point of wasting time getting an engine near to a bomb...dunno sigh!

      The thing is manufacturers have to comply to moped laws of different countries.for example on most of Europe 50cc scooters that can be driven with an Am licence cannot go over 45km/h.this means that those engines can go faster than that but are restricted by law.that ring in the variator at step 2 litteraly serves no purpose other than limiting the gear ratio on the top end to go slower.

      Peugeot tweet with one of these engine go from 45km/h stock to about 65km/h without this ring.it's quite significant but it probably varies a lot on what bike you have

      Maybe variator washer? I just did knew variator weights for my 2016 Tao Tao 50cc scoot and my washer wasn’t there. Bought scooter from someone who had done 100cc bore kit to it already so not sure if they pulled it off then.

    Ok my 50cc didn't have the plastic peace behind the pulley. I also have a 150cc carburetor with a big bore kit fully installed everything. And i dont understand how im still maxed-out at 30mph. Can anyone help are give me some ideas of what to do

      put a race race variator kit on it if it still doesn't go faster then it's prob is done electrically have to ask someone that knows about the bike

      U need to buy a ecu with no limiter i have euro 4 injection gts enzo runs 70 kmh 50 cc u can change the rpm.with a computer on the orginal ecu u need to know what brand youre computer inside is or it wont work i.have EFi but u have delorto and many other brand best to ask the shop for info

      With older scooters its just cdi but these newer have a smarter computer with sensors its a newer version cdi / ecu plug and play its sitting on the gas tank not where the battery is

    Sym fiddle 3 49cc 4t, i remove ring and now run 50 km/h,but whe is on this speed it doesnt run clear and smouth, something is going wrong, and a noise appears on 50.....for more speed another cdi or can i remove the wire from original cdi??

      Did you figure it out? I am having same issues. At higher speed i hear louder noise and feel the vibration. I ordered the narrow belt to see if that will help. Please let me know if you found out any solution. Thanks!

      @@BigSoBig the vibration might be because your cvt case is loose or that it's starting to hit it's limit.the sound very likely is your air intake

      Do not touch anywires on the cdi.buy a unrestricted one and buy a bigger cc engine with a performance exhaust.and then you need sport variator, light rollers,stiffer spring and stiffer clutch spring

      Same here. Vibration ends at higher speed. Scooter isn’t that much faster but engine runs at lower rpm. Should result in lower fuel consumption but I haven’t checked that yet.

      What does? The vario ring removal? Has nothing to do with acceleration. Just allows the vario discs to get narrower thus belt can get higher and gives a higher topspeed. Low end pulling/acceleration is influenced by rollerweight, little and big clutch spring.

      @Mack Premo The restrictor ring only ads to the top end. It doesn't change anything else. Letting in more gas will only feed the fire but you have to give more air to aid it.
