I just installed one of these that came with the top end kit. That thing just kept leaking around the metal washer also that green o ring if you tighten it down at all destroys the o ring. Ended up using black Rtv on the metal Gasket and replacing the green o ring with a different rubber seal. Seems to work now. But for some reason it didn’t want to seal up on its own.
Why does the engine have to be at TDC? Especially if it is running fine.
Was going to ask the same thing. Lookingvfor the green oil ring for the end on the screw
