Kasumi most elegant, feminine woman athlete. Too bad she's just is a little short of greatness. Still she has been rated in top 10 for many years which is itself great. Liu is one of my favorite players. She also is on the feminine side and is pretty. But when is comes to beauty, Kasumi is in a league of herself.
fayedisc - you’re probably right. But It seems Japan is only a couple of years away from having 2 great players. Their 2 teenagers are incredibly good now and can develop into greatness. I truly believe Miu has incredible greatness inside of her. Whether or not she will be able to bring it out and incorporate it into her game, only time will tell. Im betting she will.

時值2017年1月，展望並預測《中國女乒VS日本女乒》
壹、前言：
中國女乒獨霸多年獨孤求敗，年初李曉霞退役，劉詩雯暫時禁賽，丁寧狀況平平，朱雨玲扭傷腳踝，陳夢有可能遞補李曉霞成為第四主力。
日本女隊則在近年急起直追有穩居世界第二的味道。福原愛元旦步入結婚禮堂，石川佳純苦思勤練對付中國的絕招，伊藤美誠急速崛起，平野美宇在女子世界盃散發光芒，早田希娜有可能遞補福原愛成為第四主力。
貳、現況與近年對抗簡述：
1.石川佳純出道以來，面對中國的劉、丁、朱、陳四大主力，總共30場對戰。除了在2013.1之前趁著朱雨玲羽翼未豐之際勝了兩場，近3年來全面潰敗。戰績為2勝28敗。
2.伊藤美誠這幾年面對中國前述四大主力，總共10場對戰。目前戰績1勝9敗，只贏過丁寧一場。
3.平野美宇在國際賽場與2016年乒超賽場上，面對中國前述四大主力，總計14場對戰，一籌莫展，全敗收場。
4.早田希娜目前只對戰過丁寧，2戰全敗。
叁、現況小結：
以2016年為例，日本女乒面對世界其他各國強隊，有時也會翻船。在對戰中國女隊方面，直接抱鴨蛋以0-3收場。換言之，2016年底之前日本女乒對於中國女隊，『毫無威脅』！
肆、展望及預測
1.今年2017期間，中國女隊仍將穩穩獲勝，團體賽方面日本女隊仍然無法突破。
2.日本女隊雖然無法在團體賽獲勝，但有機會打破鴨蛋，以1-3輸球。
3.個人單打賽方面，伊藤美誠將有可能延續2016年擊敗丁寧的勝場，在2017年對戰前述中國四大主力時，偶有佳績，繼續鬆動中國長城的牆角。不過，儘管石川佳純苦思勤練，但我並不看好她能有所突破。平野美宇雖然榮獲世界盃女單后冠，綻放光芒，我也一樣預測她繼續一勝難求。早田希娜則因為需要用戰績證明並取得日本女隊的領先位置與出賽權，她在2017年對戰中國四大主力的場次仍將稀少，並且也無法取勝。
4.2018年起，戰況氣氛會有改變。中日女乒對戰，日本女隊不再是待宰羔羊，雖然中國女隊略佔上風，已然開始有敗戰的危機。女團方面如此，女單比賽方面，更是精彩。伊藤美誠變身中國女隊最頭痛的外戰對手，平野美宇也有機會零突破，開始贏得面對前述四大主力的第一勝，至於苦主是誰呢？難以預料。說不定早田希娜也和平野美宇一樣哩。
準不準？我不是全知的神，只是一個愛打球、愛看球、愛評球的凡人。

我原本預測平野美宇要到2018年起才會開始打贏中國女將。結果提前了半年，他從去年底以來進步神速，超出我的想像預測。
另外，伊藤美誠的正手弧圈球還弱了一點，對於旋轉的掌握和體會，確實不如平野美宇、石川佳純和早田希娜。再由於個子矮的關係，正手的防守也還差那麼一些些。伊藤美誠和平野美宇兩人同時都是2010.9起開始有世界排名。這81個月來，伊藤美誠的排名穩定領先了70個月。但2017.5的世界排名，平野美宇又超前了。未來兩人的發展如何，饒有趣味。
2017年六月初德國舉辦的世界錦標賽結果即將出爐，中日女將的戰績如何，顯然比2016年要詭譎多了！ 2017.5.15
