FYI for anyone doing this on the JK's. You don't have to take off the bumper to get the fog lights out. @ 18:18 that plastic piece once removed will allow you to pull the fog lights out after unscrewing them.
Yes. While it is difficult to access them from that location, you can in fact do it without removing the bumper.
@@JDCarsChannel Not sure how much room there is, just figured I'd add this in since I did the fogs on my girls JKU and there was plenty of room to pull them up through that opening. Granted her JKU is mostly stock.

Lol, as David stated, this vid has the best production value by far! Dem beats!!! For auto presentation, the fast twiitch/ skip editing style is my absolute favorite. The intro on this vid was so tight that when it faded to black I was like "Nice, time well spent." This shit is SICK... I just purchased a 2016 jeep last week and I am amazed about the upgrades that are available.
Wranglers are by far the most customizable vehicles ever made. It's amazing
First: Buy and In-line fuse holder and connect the wire to the battery for power. Second: Don't use Green wire for a "Hot" wire. Use Red or Black.

Great video! Unfortunately, I am not as knowledgeable as you when it comes to cars. I installed some lights on my front grill that took me almost two weeks (on and off). Suppose to take an hour! But thanks to you, I ordered to Suparee RGH Halo's. I also paid (through Amazon) to have an installer come to my home and install them. At least I know it will be done right.

Quick question though! When your Jeep is in drive and selected to auto, what lights are used as DRLs? I was of the opinion it would only be the halos but it looks like the main lights are on no matter what unless I put the jeep in park
Glad the video was helpful! This sounds like a setting on your specific vehicle rather than a feature of the lights. I recommend researching how to change your settings, or try running just the halos by turning the headlight switch to OFF
i saw these on a jeep a few days ago.
FYI I just purchased for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlmited and planned to mount the control unit by the battery as your video suggested. Unfortunately, the wires were not long enough to reach to the driver side lights. Good video though.

My kit has an additonal blue and white wire for turn signals. Does these go into the turn signal harness, or is there a better place to install?
i have the same lights but the halos are next to invisible during the day no matter what color I run, even with the headlights off. Yours appear to be much brighter than mine even in the same lighting. The brightness is all the way up in the app, not sure what's up
What did you do with the white and blue turn signal wires?
I would use an adapter for the fogs install. Splicing the OEM harness seems unnecessary
Can you connect it right to the batter instead in the fuse box?

You’re welcome! No, you’ll need the module even to run the halos in white

Hey thanks for the vid. It was very helpful on my install of this kit. I am having a small issue though. The bright and dim functions on my lights are reversed. The fog lamps turn off when the brights are activated as they should, but the bright function also makes my lights run in the standard mode. Turning off the brights in the cab, the brights turn on out front, AND the fog lights come on as they should when brights are disabled. I used the harnesses that prevent flicker, and triple checked that the lights weren't installed upside down. Ideas?
That sounds bizarre. I’m sorry but it’s hard for me to identify the problem. I didn’t install an anti flicker module so that could be related

Glad the video was helpful! The flickering is surprising. I would suggest checking your halo wiring connections and make sure none of them are loose. If the problem persists, please reach out to the seller.

Just installed these on my jk. Do they always blink green when starting up the Jeep before they go to the color you had set before? Also do you run the white halo color on the road? And one last question do the halos always come on when you start the Jeep? Because mine do and I was wondering if I could change that because if not I have to manually go into the app and shut them off every time I startup my Jeep.
Yes. Yes. And yes - you could wire an independent switch to the halo control box power supply if you want

That is your best option... alternative would be drilling a hole and sealing it with silicone.

It sounds like you may have blown your radio fuse. I would check the fuse box for a blown fuse.

I am looking at grabbing these this week and installing them on my new wrangler. I am curious, do the halos sync up with the blinkers? Not necessarily the amber color, but the blinking function itself? Also, are they still working as well as the beginning? Thanks in advance
They do not blink with the blinkers, but that’s not a huge deal. They are still working perfectly! They’re waterproofed well.

Wow. First off, MAJOR PROPS to you for this video. It's the best one out there. However I have an issue still. My control box has FOUR wires: Ground (easy), Red, Green, and Blue. Uninstalled, the headlights work like normal headlights and there is no Bluetooth working. I have no idea what to do with the Red, Green, or Blue wires. I would like to assume that Red is for power, but I am lost after that. Any ideas?

Sounds like you might have a loose connection - I would check your power leads.

I need your help. I bought these same headlights. I connected the leds to the cigarette lighter fuse. And they went out as I was adjusting the color (not right after install. A couple months after) idk why I replaced the fuse.
Just the leds the headlights work fine.

As mentioned in the video, these headlights are only compatible with 2007-2018 Wranglers

The halo doesn’t go completely, perfectly white, but I comes pretty close. If you only want them to be white, I would recommend purchasing a white only version - you’ll appreciate the simplicity

All we did was take the top crown off behind the bumper easy access there.
Do the lights have handedness at all, I’m trying to install but I don’t see any indication for which one is the left or the right one?
They didn't seem to have a handedness from what I could tell.
You can scan QR code’s by simply using your phone camera. At least for iPhones ik

Yes, but the headlights sort of drown out the lighter colors on the halos when they're on.

Did you make sure the headlights are connected in the app? There's a "connect" button that needs to be pressed before changing colors

The headlights come with a little box that the halos plug into
I seem to be having a different install issue... the 3 metal "tabs" on the back of the SUPAREE heatshield don't line up perfectly with the corresponding "notches" in the bracket that held the stock headlight. (You can see a "notch" I'm referring to at 22:49 of your clip... it's at about the 11:00 position, just right of and below the torx screw hole in this area). There are 3 such notches in each bracket of my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon... I can get 2 of the 3 "tabs" into their corresponding "notches", but the third is off by about 1/8". Any thoughts on how to fix this? Thx!
I'm sorry but I don't fully understand your issue. I can recommend doing some careful trimming with a dremel... just be careful.
@@JDCarsChannel no worries... I chipped away a little of the plastic of the bracket and then the light fit.
About the QR code. If you just open your camera app and poit it towards the QR code it will auto populate the app.
