  • "Keep Your Hands to Yourself", by the American southern rock group The Georgia Satellites, was written by the group's lead singer Dan Baird and is about the problems the band's drummer was having with his girlfriend. Released in 1986 as their debut single, it reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1987. Although it's their only hit song, it has been noted that it "rocks as hard as an old Chuck Berry song, as well as being almost as clever", and "is just a timeless, kick-out-the-jams rock 'n' roll number that digs into the song's vocals with a no-holds-barred zest straight out of a Texas honky-tonk." Several cover versions of the song exist and it has been a favorite of bar-bands for many years because of its simplicity and popularity. The song's line "Don't give me no lines and keep your hands to yourself" was used in a Buick Lacrosse TV Commercial named 'School Dance. www.ispot.tv/ad/71bO/buick-la...
