I had something similar but with the "Play an even cost card to refresh your hero power and it costs 0 mana" power. Was pretty good
I had a really fun deck when I fought this guy too. I picked a gnomebliterator, and drew it turn 1 when fighting the boss that gives you a copy of the first spell used every turn. It was a bit disappointing only fighting 7 bosses, but oh well.... what can you do.

Just had a game with Flo Slatebrand and VIP Membership. Ended with 15 total tavern visits and 17 (0) cost Flo's in my deck that always started in my opening hand. Every time I fought the plague lord he'd take 110 gnombliterator damage at the start. Was a phat fucking run.

Die with elise a painful amount till you get starseeker then play literally anything make sure too play all your spells in a burst
Keep one moonfire in your hand so all your spells can be combod though
Hey kripp , not sure if you know it but if you pick hearthstone as a treasure and later get Hexlord Mal. You also get unlimited hearthstones.
It is also easier if you put the card on Hexlord where he always starts in your hand.

this is epic! The best unfair single player deck possible, which is so great that it kills the enemy on the start of the game!
Nope it isn't best possible. Brann scam same way with 4-4 legendary is much better after you start rolling. Firstfully you have way less chances to die on early bosses and secondly you just simply have better minions and more treasures than with mage. First turn against boss Kripp with mage plays at best 2 secrets and has to wait for last secret with dead card in hand - with Brann you play 24-24 worth of stats, generate 4 treasures straight away and 4 in deathrattles.
The only advantage of mage is getting hearthstone more reliably but overall strenght is way behind in comparison. That's why Brann scam is ultimate adventure deck.
I once did this and then got to the point where I could get taverns repeatedly until I found archanologist. I then used the option that adds 3 copies of a friendly minion to the deck. Eventually, it got to the point where the only cards in my deck were the Sr Tomb Diver (which was always in my opener), 25 Arcanologists, and a bunch of secrets. All of this, had been reduced to zero mana, so every game I had turn one Treasure hero power. Once i got to my second passive, I got darklight torch. I think I should remind everyone that my whole deck was zero mana meaning darklight torch would trigger on my entire deck. At that point, I just had to do some math. Statistically, I had gotten to the point where I could pretty much get hearthstones on command. The run really wouldn't ever end if I didn't want it to.
Edit: I also wanted to add that you can solve the Gnomeblitterator problem (i.e. the plague lord eventually dying from Gnomeblitterator) by simply taking the treasure thats a 3/6 that gives you 2 healing spells after it attacks. A few turns of that and you can heal the plague lord up to full again.
I had a chance to enter a battle with 0 cards. I got Bob's deck which gave me all Pogo Hoppers and had the other to destroy all 1 and 2 Mana cards in my deck lol

I JUST dis this today. But I did it with Bran's "battlecry and deathrattle: get a treasure" thingie. Because I had a lot of taverns, I had more than 30 of those in my deck, so I got hearthstone consistently.

I had an even better combo once. I hade the treasure, which when you discover a card, you get three for 2 mana less. then i had the one one where if you play an even card you reset your hero power and can use it again(for 0 mana ofc). so infinite treasures and every time you play one (for example the 10 dmg plus 10 dmg card) you reset. i literally oneshot the 300 hp before turn one :P

And was getting all the time the "Go To The Tavern" spell.
But when i finally got the VIP TAVERN, that spell didn't show up anymore even using my hero power like 30 times per match...
When you can just pull a Hearthstone with every deck and have Gnomebliterator, you are OP, but then you had to go VIP and GET EVERYTHING!

This makes me sad. I discovered b y accident the infinite loop tavern by using Malacrass and I though i got something super special... and I wrote to Kripp and it turned out he did it on stream the same day. :( I thought I discovered this and I was 24h late
I am with ya buddy. Just wanna say that Im not sure about others but I noticed what ya did, so kudos to ya! (Also, I was sitting on my sofa watching this on my tv and GOT UP to connect a keyboard just so I could reply to you so that's a seperate achievement lol)
Edit: after watching how much trouble you had getting the quest online in the last fight, I dare say that the Brann version is better. While it's purely random even if you don't get a Hearthstone the deck is oppressive as hell (and really, both versions need the VIP Membership to really own).
Haha, what timing. I actually did this 12 hours ago, except with Brann and his treasure (Flo Slatebrand) that has battlecry and deathrattle: get a random treasure. First attempt at boss one I got a Hearthstone, used it, gave Flo 'Right Hand Man' (always in starting hand), then proceeded to go back and do the boss as normal, and afterwards I also got VIP Membership. After visiting Bob the first time I got 3 more copies of Flo in my deck, and when I got a Hearthstone in my first boss-four encounter, went back to the bazaar and got *another* 3 copies of Flo it was off to the races. Ended up spending 74 gold in that run (I imagine you could spend more in the mage run; board and hand space were a huge issue that being able to discover a treasure might be able to mitigate) but boy was the deck oppressive. Final boss basically took 3 turns - get into fight, Gnomeblit for 120, take him down to phase 3 by turn 3, Hearthstone, go back in, Gnomeblit for 120 (well, 140 as I cast 2 during the fight), deadzo. XD
how can the gnomebliterator deal so much damage? isnt it only deal 20?
@@jakbar_vano7139 10 to a target, then 10 to the plague lord when you're fighting them. So if you cast it 12 times during the run, when you fight the plague lord it does 120 immediately at the start (possibly more if you've had spell damage boosts when you initially cast them).

I currently have a run where my opening hand always has a dead mans hand in it, and i have a hearthstone. I took a break from it but ive been doing the infinite tavern thing. im trying to run myself out of bosses and see what happens. Ill get back to it later. Im playing as bran with double battlecry and the starting treasure that battlecry/deathrattle gives a treasure, and im using the discover a card to draw hero power.

if you use enough gnomebliterators you can just outright kill the plague lord from full hp before your first turn even begins

Fun Fact: If you get Hearthstone during the Tekhan fight, the next time you do a run on another boss, you get Bob right away after the first boss.

Jr. Tomb Diver upgrades to Sr. Tomb Diver after you beat enough Plague Lords. Each hero has an upgradeable sidekick like this.
