- Today I show you the Fortnite update 28.00 or chapter 5 season 1 of Fortnite. This update comes with new camera devices and a lot of other cool stuff like custom minimap or new weapons.

Finally cameras for a proper fnaf map
06:00 it cuts off so you can remove the roof when inside a building. The v28 demo map has a good example room showing how it works

Hey there is one thing i found, adjusting the camera fixed very specifically will allow for a first person perspective, it just doesnt allow horizontal or vertical rotation, but looks very good combined with the scar, anyways great video!
What are the settings for it. I have been messing around with it I did get somewhat of a first person mode but it's inside of your skins head not a full proper first person mode
@@benthomaar.gaming I believe the offset x was 20/30, fov was 120, distance was 0, and i cant remember the overs, hope this helps though

@@Sopranos990 It does show hands, only on some guns though, it lets you move around aswell, I think it was the camera device that allows a top down view (i cant remember the name)

So you can actually control the fixed angle camera as long as you have a "Third Person Controls" Device, you can actually control your rotation of your character etc.

@@liamgamedev2733 it’s super easy you just put down a fixed camera device and then place down a third person device without editing it at all and it’s perfect

Feels like they got a vendetta against people who use the melee weapon designer. Its bugged... Again its honestly annoying now every melee weapon displays as basic sword/basic hammer and sprint attacks only work while sliding

Why do the cameras always lock on behind the player? Anyway to fix that?
Why are such glaringly obvious things still missing from creative? Mega city streets, curved sidewalk pieces, curved durr burger roof, mechs? Anytime you try and use these in game they are disabled or blacklisted from being used in projects?
Justice for curved durr burger roof. I can’t make a proper recreation of greasy Grove without it.
@@Thefunni1991 It makes no sense for it to be blacklisted. Even with Valkyrie editor permissions (developer build of uefn) it is disallowed in projects.
Woow why dose animation movement look so lively now, is that just me ?!?!
Examples: 0:57 (arms move around slow when going idle, walking, and crouching, looks more lively)
They change it this season the movements however is terrible for build game mode

They updated most of the animations in one big sweep after the UE5.2 animation updates. Models now move more how physics work. (Eg running or in a bouncy car, their arms/head wobble a little bit). They also cleaned up a lot manually at the same time. Eg Girls do more conservative animations now to help T rating.

Lately I’ve been having a glitch where in my battle Royale map whenever a chest is opened in game no gun comes out. Could you help me?
This could take a lot more effort than needed but if you really want your chest to work properly, then I suggest making a chest using custom loot like we used to do in the back in the day before the chests were officially released

Hey I’m new to creative 2.0 and unreal engine so I have some questions
Can you make custom guns?
Can you change the stats of guns or make duplicate guns with diff stats. For example a green rpg either purple rpg stats

I made a makeshift train years before it actually came out in battle Royale. All you need is the borderlands crates that you can go inside of and prop movers.
Edit: And then if you wanna add some finishing touches you could maybe add some crates and chests

They have OG Versions of heals because Fortnite OG will comeback and might stay forever
The OG map will not stay forever, but because of how much plays Fortnite OG got the people at epic games confirmed that it will probably be coming back in 2024
Also, the reason why the OG stuff is there is in case anybody does not want to use the special mobility items and wants to keep it simple. It does not have any relations to Fortnite OG making a return
