Hello, thank you for much for providing all the details:) it’s been very helpful. I want to apply for visa for my mother. Could you please tell if we have to provide a detailed itinerary like we do in tourist visa? Like I will have to include the activities for every single day? Can I simply mention that my mother wants to spend Christmas, new year and my birthday with me and travel few cities in Germany? Can I include in the cover and invitation letter that I want my mother to visit for whole 90 days? I would be grateful if you could please answer my questions .
Could you also please tell what does this means “evidence of legal residence of family/fds visited: copy of passport “ this is written under invitation letter.
Thank you very much in advance

Hi Shreya, so detailed itinerary is not required, you can send a pdf document stating that you want to invite your mother and she will stay with you and will leave .. just provide the additional attachment like your residence card copy, address copy and passport copy. This is additional to the sponsor letter that you will share and do mention in the pdf that her financial part will be taken care by you.. lega residence is basically your KVR registration or residence proof document . Hope this clarifies and I wish you all the best. Please subscribe to my channel 😊

Also, just simply write in your cover letter that she is visiting you and will be staying with you.. no need to specify each day or further trip itinerary.. this is more than enough. 😊

Hello, thank you so much for providing all the details. I have a question: my parents are planning to travel from Bangladesh to Germany, and I was wondering if they need to submit their marriage certificate to the embassy as part of the process?

Hello 👋 Marriage certificate is not required, did you share the declaration letter to them? This would work and sufficient. As a side note, please tell your parents to carry your passport copy , declaration letter, your address proof.. if they have any other proof like spouse name on passport , then it’s good..
