- The Attack on Titan Platinum Trophy is a Grindy MESS! In this video I will be going for the Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom Platinum Trophy. After Attack on Titan anime reached its conclusion, I decided to go and platinum the game adaptation. The Attack on Titan Anime means so much to me and to have the platinum trophy for Attack on Titan, makes me so happy. Even if the Platinum Trophy requires so much grinding its insane. The Attack on Titan Platinum Trophy took me well over 100 hours to get and now I'm just happy its over.

For anyone else experiencing the grinding, play as Christa because she gets increased money and one her of level ups gives her the same skill that Sasha gets to increase drop rates

No. That's the bad thing. The only strong character in the game stats is Levi. So with Historia (Christa) is going to be hard.

It's good to see someone else share the experience of platinuming this game. A drag for sure, but one I too wouldn't give away for anything. Love the game itself to bits and beyond the platinum trophy and the gameplay and the story itself, the game has so much meaning to me as it is what introduced me to Attack on titan (my favorite anime), and subsequently, anime itself.
0:39 to those wondering why that was Hange in a different art style, well there is a show where the AoT cast go to Attack on High.

Played the game when it came out. Played throught it and i think at that time the epiloge wasn't out. But never even S ranked all Attack Mode mission.
But after the Anime ended i now also want to 100% both games.
And when i got into the gallery screen and saw how much equipment i'm missing after i beat the normal story i knew it will take time, but i'm kinda hyped about it after this Video.

Thank you man! Nah to be fair, the 2nd one with the DLC is insane! Up to Season 3, Thunder Spears, fight with Kenny with the guns. Seems like a banging sequel. Just platinum is awful haha

I remember to grind the platinum for this when it came out and I think it wasn't that time intensive. Was more grindy than your average Naruto or Dragonball game trophy, but certainly didn't take me 100 hours. I have grinded a lot of worse anime game platinums before (looking at you digimon all star rumble). But yeah, even after all those years, I remember the last stretch grinding for those dang titan crystals very well xD

Just got the “Journey to the Unknown 3” achievement and have finally 100% it, myself. I wanted to fucking rip my hair out with that fucking gallery completion!
I've got this game and it's sequel on Xbox One and for me the hardest achievement is getting 100% completion for the gallery

I have played both this game, and A.O.T. 2, and while I do like AOT2 more, their trophy lists are almost the same thing, so both games are a Titan of a grind, and for some reason in game 2 I don't get hurt enough to get a trophy for that, but the final battle DLC got some good things in it, and you don't have to make all the weapons, for that dammed 100% trophy, even if that DLC has a high price tag.
Hell yeah I love the attack on titan is amazing and sad. Good luck playing the second one

I always thought an anime game that covered the whole story with either the main character or a created character would be pretty cool.
I wish more anime games would tell their stories through this type of gameplay. Rather than a generic fighting game

I have yet to touch these two games but I did get the platinums in first 3 Sword Art Online games it was grindy as hell.
How are the Sword Art games? Besides the grind of course
Very easy for the first and third you would have to try to fail or go into high level area even then the lvl diffrence must be 60+.

Need to replay this (and AOT 2) and get that Platinum trophy... as much as i hate to say it, I'll enjoy it. I grinded out Tokyo Ghoul RE call to exist back in... either early 2020, or early 2021, and nabbed that plat, so 😭🤣🤣

@@IJJoshYTnumber 2 has the same gallery grind as 1 including all the gear, but you can do multiplayer to get the ingredients, possibly turn the final part of the grind into a community thing

aot 1 is arguably better than 2, titan fighting wise and graphic and story telling wise, lets be honest the only reason i got aot2 was because of the character creation.
imagine koei let you play as eren and rumbling all those NPC =)))
