I used your videos for reference while changing the gearbox and clutch on a 207cc 1.6vti. Thank you so much. What torque would you recommend for the hub nuts as I get conflicting information online and would trust your opinion.
Question i replaced my tri clutch opted for sachs over luk price was simular i the pressure plate on luk is advanced with with the adjustment type of spring would you say its better @wmcs
Kevin, I may be close to replacing a clutch on a 1997 Honda Prelude. I have the choice of Exedy, LuK, Valeo, and Sachs clutch kits. In your experience, which company would you recommend for the best quality closest to factory for Honda?
Many thanks. I know Exedy is OEM for some Japanese manufacturers so Exedy seems like it is the way to go. Keep up the great work, watching your videos is inspirational. I have to muster the courage to do one clutch job in a covered garage, don’t know how you do so many in a day!

Yes. If you look in clutch plate removal. You can see it had twisted round. I took it off and realigned it so the guy could get it mobile again. Not something I’d normally do without a disclaimer
this is the problem with BMW they manufactured it in a way where you have to go back to them or buy expensive genuine parts in order to fix a problem. from adding the service history into the dashboard with a stupid code to TPMS sensors that need to say BMW on it so it registers to their ECU and god knows what else. good if you can afford it but. . . they do drive nice lol

Clockwise springs was still ok. But anticlockwise was knackered. You could hear it slightly knocking

Just tight. Then clip it.

Love the vids mate, how long does changing the clutch for a mini usually take?
For me personally about 4hrs roughly. But it’s one of them that needs a skill level.
