- Blake didn't realize they transgender for a long time because of inadequate access to information as a Deaf person. Now they're sharing their own story online so Deaf trans people know they're not alone.

I'm in school to become an ASL interpreter. I, too, am trans.
Thank you for sharing your story, Blake! There are so many vlogs of trans people, which is so wonderful for creating visibility and being a support to all people, trans, cis or whatever, to understand themselves and others better. CC is getting a lot better, but there is always a great need, especially for Deaf who often have limited access. I'm so glad you found support, and that you are paying it forward by supporting others.
(I am in school to be an ASL interpreter) God bless you for being yourself! It warms my heart to see content like this 🏳⚧
I really enjoyed your video. You are very positive and good at telling your story. It takes a lot to put yourself out there. Thank you for sharing and take care😊
Thanks for sharing your story and in doing so, you are normalizing the experience which is important.
I know this is an older video, but thanks for sharing your journey.

Hey Blake I want learn more about ur journey u have vlog on here ?? Let me know so I can follow u on that
Many signs in ASL are gendered. Are there non-binary versions of all of these signs that we can learn and use to not assume a person's gender?
I don't know what ASL you're using, but there are literally like maaaaybe like 10 gendered signs and you can usually just drop prefixes???
Their pronouns are they/them not he/him
Thanks, Koda! :)
@@AiMedia01 Hi
Hi
CODA here... Please you have to inform the Deaf community the good the bad and the ugly about Transit over! You need a good advocator as well as a good interpreter and you need to know the truth of what's really going on when you go through these procedures! In the hearing world a lot of people unfortunately think this way they take advantage of the Deaf people as though they are stupid I've seen this throughout my whole life! I want you to be safe...this is my community as well as a CODA! I love my Deaf people!!! 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
