I wish they would do something like this in call of the wild. They could put monsters or just have all the animals be domonic & attack you.
If monsters there be zombie animals
Just make all animals go aggressive, its not too intense, but kind of a real life nightmare. Full herds of deer and elk charging you.

They did it once, and it failed horribly because of how incompetent cotw devs are.
It's a lot easier to do on steam, consoles would ve pretty difficult.

Hey Flinter, good Halloween video. I'm pretty sure I've said it before but I absolutely can not handle scary or suspenseful stuff. You are outstanding because I can watch every video/stream you put out and enjoy all of them. Hope to catch a stream soon

Revisiting this in early preparation of this year's Halloween event. 2022 was my first Classic Halloween and I can't wait for what this year may bring!
Watching this video again to get hyped for the new Halloween event. Treekiwi confirmed on the official EW Classic stream today that this year's Halloween event will start on October 25th and it will be on a different map this year - not Timbergold or Bushrangers. I'm excited for the possibilities!

Omg yes. I’ll settle for another Africa map with more species. It’s boring when they bring out maps with basically the same animals
Cause cotw devs are crap
In the last survey i suggested a ice age ish map/event because SOOOO many extinct mammals from that era would be amazing trophies
This was addressed during EW's live stream last week. Essentially it is 1000% easier to drop stuff into classic than it is to mesh it into COTW. Basically the code is just much more complex. It's not impossible, but the effort to do it would be extensive, which is hard to justify while putting out two maps and multiple packs per year.
@@malloryjordan6764 Oh my God yes! It would be so amazing to track sabercats, irish elk, short faced bears, and maybe mammoth? or wooly rhino. We'd need a bolt action .416 or something similar
Y’all know what they REALLY need with this map?? A HAUNTED TROPHY LODGE!! That would be so cool to see them actually animate when you walk in like a Haunted House!!
I'm wondering if you can bring dogs on this. It would be interesting tracking down a wounded werewolf with Snuffles the hound. I'd also love to see something special for the hunting dogs during Halloween events.
I learned the hard way that the rabbits can kill! I found that standing on a rock prevents them from hitting you, but I only found that out after panicking slightly at the 3 rabbits charging me haha.
And I found out that not all rocks work.. I stood on one and got finished off by one measly rabbit. ;)
Ugh, I just wish we had Bushranger's Run in COTW, I would play this in a heartbeat if I had a decent computer

I like the timergold Halloweens better... I was too scared to leave the lodge in bushrangers.

I got my first diamond in my 4 years of playing call of the wild and I wasn’t even paying attention so I didn’t taxidermy it and I just got the achievement diamonds are forever 😭

Man this is reminding me of how I really hope the next two maps are COTW are Australia or Africa 2.0...or literally anything other than North America or Europe again. Think about it, minus Te Awaroa, we've gone nowhere else in 3 years. Let's go somewhere else for at least two maps in a row

Why in the hell do they never do anything for Halloween on COTW??
They have, it's just not as frequent
They did and it’s just a few missions with “infected” animals that just looked buggy and was a short story line
Cause the cotw devs are incompetent
Werewolves, hogs, rabbits, and goats will all charge you, but not the axis, roos or foxes. Combining the constantly attacking animals with the limited vision, it makes sneaking up on the other stuff pretty annoying, especially since you need them for the mission
Use the crossbow and sneak around. The roos Are pure pain in this event since u cant lure Them into calls..
@@Royaliize Yeah thats basically what I did. The non charging animals are still insanely tough. Hopefully they balance it out a little better next year

@@Royaliize The roo turned out to be fairly easy to find, but hard to kill due to strange anatomy. just find some tracks or a call and crouch and crawl to them, but do NOT rush the shot. Its easy to hit them too far back and get straight guts, they will not die from that. For the axis I did a similar thing, just walking around until I found a random set of tracks. As I have experienced and understand, there are no female axis in the event, so any tracks you find just follow 'em.
@@Mooskellunge i was insanely Lucky. Got a 199 axis buck that look 3 hours to get, first i forgot water, then a bad shot and then ran out of border. Lucky he came into the caller. Also on My friend server, we got 2 900+ pigs and one 1100!
