The absolutely gorgeous styles of artists are so unique from each other that they flow through the song almost elegantly!! I adore this so much, recognizing some of the beautiful artists here!! I hope there's more collaborations in the future if this is an end product! :D
Ok wait, this is an interesting concept. Let me theorize with what you gave me. By this video, Dark already took over Mark and was the one to right the letters. He planned the party. Mark was already dead therefore all Dark had to do was leave. It has already been basically confirmed that Celine and Damian are not Dark, so this was a plot for physical form. Find someone at the party who can be a new and more powerful host. That's why the body wasn't there, although it could have been the detective. Idk but interesting concept guys.
Meme Lord Not long after WKM Mark retweeted a piece of art without any caption. It was showing Dark using Celine and Damian as puppets saying "I am not Celine, I am not Damien. I am the Dark" So no not directly, but enough.
Hmmm. Close, but not quite! This lines up with canon, and goes with what Mark mentioned in the WKM Explained stream. Basically, the Manor itself is an entity of its own, and yes, it wanted physical form. It influenced Mark (not controlled entirely) to set up the party with the intention of (from Mark's perspective) getting revenge on William for his affair with Celine, and getting a physical form using William's body (from the Manor's perspective). By the end fo the video, Mark's gotten what he wanted - framed Will for murder, and ruined his life (because only he knows his body would, usually, just regenerate). I dunno man. Mark explains it better than me!

*shivers* Yikes that's pretty powerful and definitely messed with my emotions a bit. 10/10 Also yeah there is the question that in wkm there was mention of a lot of injuries and it was assumed it was murder, but what if it was in fact self-inflicted after all? It was never stated one way or the other so it's quite possible methinks that it could have been all failed suicide attempts instead of overkill with the murder.
Actually that is confirmed in Mark's stream explaining WKM after he got back from tour after its release. When I storyboarded this I tried to keep it as close to Mark's explanation as possible while still piecing together the bits he didn't explain.
A small detail to notice but if you pause at 2:53. The letter on the Far Left says Y/N. This is the Things that Please me. The little details. Nice Work!
Whoever thought of this had the best idea ever, the song fits the story so well and this person was able to get so many amazingly talented animators to create this literal masterpiece, I am normally not one to like these types of videos since they mostly change too often from a good animator to a not very good one but this one, pretty much every animator in this was absolutely fanominal.
