- Having consistent success hunting coyotes isn't easy. Throw a camera into the mix when you're hunting alone, and you'll very likely second guess your life choices. Coyote hunts are, by nature, very chaotic. Running the call, keeping the coyote in frame and in focus, going from the camera to the gun without the coyote picking out the movement... There's a long list of things to consider and try to control when self-filming. The unpredictable nature of coyotes makes it even more complicated.
This is a collection of clips that I filmed on solo hunts over the past couple of years. Coming into the video side of things with zero experience, I'm proud of this one.

Amazing! What time of the day are you hunting? I called my first coyote last week, he was at 25 yards, was ready to shoot and he saw me aiming and ran away !

.243 We can’t have suppressors in IL. Doesn’t affect the hunting at all, but it’s hard on our ears.

Why does it take so long to get shots off?
It isn’t always easy self-filming. Moving from the camera to the gun at the wrong time can get you busted.

Weird, it didn't seem to affect the hunts. When you're self-filming, there's a lot going on. I'm not just focused on the shot.
