- Congratulations to the Chiefs and all their fans for a hard fought victory in Super Bowl LVIII. Did I love every second of it? No, given that watching Mahomes run a two minute drill at the end of regulation makes me want to puke. But it was a fight to the very end, and if Kyle Shanahan knew the Josh Allen rules better, maybe there would have been a different outcome...
And my deepest sympathies to all of Chiefs Kingdom for having your moment of triumph ruined in such a brutal way. I hope all of you watching this and your loved ones are safe and sound. - Sport

This run with Mahomes has been amazing for us Chiefs fans. Before Reid, the Chiefs front office was renowned for their incompetence. We had decades of watching the Chiefs do exactly what it takes to lose the game. Plays like end runs with the slowest player on the team or 3rd and 4 throwing a one-yard pass. We could have drafted Joe Montana and Dan Marino but ended up with Steve Fuller and Todd Blackledge.
That reminds me, I was happy and sad that Joe Montana went to the chiefs at the end of his career. On the sad side, he was the best QB the chiefs ever had (that I've been alive for at least). The happy side was he was the best QB the Chiefs ever had until Mahomes. We have had some good ones, but nothing spectacular.

I live in KC, so I'm definitely a Chiefs fan. I've watched several reaction videos of Bills fans, Ravens fans and 49ers fans. Most of them have the look of people heartbroken and disgusted because this was the year the Chiefs were supposed to be taken down. I can totally relate though. I watched the Chiefs in the 90s and we would have all of these great teams. Then we'd go 1 and done in the playoffs. We got to the AFC championship game against your Bills and got beat down. I don't want to remember those times. We are soaking up all of the good times now because they won't last forever. I'm furious with the thugs who ruined our parade though. I'd rather the Chiefs lose the Super Bowl than have that happen. Thanks for putting up with us Chiefs fans.
You're talking about the Schottenheimer era. He liked building depth instead of sinking the team's resources into a handful of stars, so his teams did well making it through the long season to make the playoffs 7 of 10 seasons, but only made it to the AFC Championship once perhaps because it's those star players who make the plays to win the big games.
I'm a lifelong Chiefs and Missouri Tigers fan. I watched Steve Wilks as the Mizzou DC. He left and Blake Baker made his players a top 10 unit in 1 year. Then Baker got poached by LSU and is the highest paid assistant in CFB. I told my friend before the game, if it's close at halftime, Wilks will find a way to lose it. Chiefs last 4 possessions: TD, FG, FG, TD...bye Steve

I was excited about Usher and company because I’m from Atlanta . That game was a nail biter for us Chiefs fans.
I was excited for and let down by Usher, but it wasn’t really his fault - he’s a great performer. I just didn’t like the way the songs were arranged. I’d still happily go see him in concert. My kid and I saw Luda last summer, it was a really fun show, so I was glad when he showed up.

I appreciate your channel and your humor. I’ve watched them all and they’ve all made me laugh. You’re naturally funny. Also, I’m 51. I’m just now learning WTF motion does. My whole life Its just seemed like chaos on the field where sometimes my team wins. LOL. It’s not that bad, but close. I wasn’t allowed to get into football until late high school, so I didn’t understand it as a kid and grow with it. But now there’s CZcams and I’m trying to learn all the stuff I missed. So it would be interesting to see you learn about aspects of the sport you don’t understand. Make a video about it and I’ll learn with you.
I’m totally the same way! Come a long way since I was six years old and asked my dad if there was any rhyme or reason to why those dudes all just ran full bore into each other. Trying to gain more specific knowledge so maybe I can become a Tony Romo style play caller from my couch.

So I think it’s important to not chase the growth and interactions, something authentic has obviously brought you here. Additionally the challenge of the off-season now being here is that content will naturally dry up in a reactionary sense but you can still do that similar content with draft combine pro days etc. you also say you wish to learn more and I think that’s great, as fans we should all strive to increase our knowledge and you can document that journey too. Lastly I think collaboration is a huge way to make sure your content reaches the right people. I don’t know them personally, but the guys over at Arrowhead Addict are great and will have content throughout the offseason, they have a variety of guests throughout the weeks, I think getting in touch with them (or similar other fan channels) can be a great way to introduce yourself and allow people the chance to think your opinions matter to them. I also have another couple smaller ideas that you could employ further down the line if you want to hear them just let me know!

Before I forget please thank ALL of Bills Mafia and Bills organization for changing the OT rules 🙏 You may already know Mahomes ALWAYS give us a chance. Me and my Fam and friends had a blast at the parade. Keep in mind its 2 miles long with a rally at the end. MOST people were NOT at the rally but at parade route and were NOT affected by the thug teenagers shooting innocents after the rally was over. There's nothing to say and appreciate you not over doing it. Nothing more off putting than media personalities (especially men) with their crocodile tears pretending this has somehow impacted them personally. KC East is a rough area and parade was close by. KC has high crime like most cities its size. People know the risks.Good luck in the offseason. If the Chiefs somehow don't make it to the SB59 then i'll root for Bills to make it. AFC will be very tough next year. Lastly, if you want us to harass you on X then put your X name on here. Many use X to promote their channels on YT ☮

It's honestly not a weird reaction to root for the team that beat your team. Then at least you kinda feel like, "Yeah, we lost, but we lost to the champs." You know who feels really shitty right now? Lions fans. They lost a game they should have won to a team that got beat by a team they beat to start the season... in part because Toney is very skilled at handing over interceptions on a silver plate. I'm a Chiefs fan, but if they don't make it to the bowl, I'm always rooting for the AFC team.
See, I’ve run into more people like that recently - including my husband and my mom - who stick with the AFC out of conference loyalty! I didn’t know that was a thing! I get it if it was the team that beat your team, like you said - but I think I would have been rooting for the Niners over the Ravens if the Ravens hadn’t shot the bed so hard.

Lifelong Chief's fan, I would have been worried if we were ahead at the half. Down 10-3, I knew they had it in the bag. My sister is a lifelong Bills fan, so I've paid attention to them for the past 35 years too & they are my 2nd favorite AFC team because of her ;) I hope they finally get a Lombardi with Josh Allen.

Watching the game live, with a Chiefs fan's bias, I complained quite a few times about Chris Jones getting held by the Niners' O Line. Watching replays of the game, multiple times, both teams were allowed to play the same way. Difficult to complain about. Nothing but love and respect for the Bills. Sorry that the Chiefs' run is happening during the best era of Bills football in recent times. Thank you for the kind words about the sad parade events. Kelce singing was a TikTok video a Chiefs fan made that changed the words of I Got Friends In Low Places. He was embarrassingly drunk though.
Fantasy Football does make you more invested in games because you are looking out for specific players and their respective stat lines. It can help you be a bit more invested and less bored with teams that you usually wouldn't care to watch normally. Its a bit of a nerdy numbers mess, if you take it too seriously, but I can attest that it is way more fun if you are in a league with people you like and can interact with on a regular basis for obvious bragging and shit talking reasons, similar to how watching games with friends makes those games that much more fun.
I just worry because I am very competitive and my shit talking can get kinda out of control. Would like to still have those friends when the season is done. But yeah, my thought is that having various players from across the league will help keep me more on top of what’s happening with various teams I wouldn’t normally pay attention to. I watched one Colts game late in the season and ways like “All these names are made up, I’ve never heard of any of these people.”

Side Note: ALL NFL O-Lines hold. Some are just better at hiding it. Many lineman have said this over the years. All players really, will do what they think they need to in order to win.

I love the Chiefs, but I was looking for unbiased Football commentary and less Mahomes Fanboy, and that's what I found here.
I think learning about the off-season in regards to salary caps, contract structures, and everything is super interesting as it really dictates how a team can maintain certain players and work around their star players. Another aspect is understanding the franchise tag rule and how that impacts not only the player but also the salary of the player against the cap. Those things are great questions to explore and in a few weeks, you're going to have A LOT of opportunities to see how those are being done as well as lots of people much smarter than the average fan reviewing and analyzing them.
"Chiefs were holding a lot" The one thing about the playoffs that is good/bad, depending on how you look at it, is that they don't call as many penalties unless they are egregious. This means that players often can hold more, contact more, etc. without fearing a flag. This is more standard old-school football and "letting the players play". I saw a ton of holds that the Niners were doing, admittedly (Chiefs fan here) saw some holds that the Chiefs were doing, but they really weren't calling more than I'd expect as far as the refs go. Also, one thing untalked about in the media that teams do is they hold stats on certain refs, how many dpi calls, holding calls, etc. that they give and the players know going in how much they can push that limit. This is part of the reason that in the regular season, we keep hearing about the unfairness of the refs, but not really so much in the postseason.... both the lack of calls but also that teams that use this structure of game prep know how to manipulate the calls a bit. You take every edge you can get and great coaches do these things for prep work.
Yeah, in general I believe in letting the players play in the playoffs. A game that’s one because of a holding or PI call is just…less fun. Interesting point about them going into the game knowing which refs will let them get away with more!
Knowledge is good, but try not to study up so much that you are giving stats and not your thoughts. Life is crazy, people enjoy the respite of a fun video. Hence when shots need to be fired, keep doing it with your humor ( again the Josh Allen giving swirlies, the gift that keeps on giving) don’t go full heel. Do some videos on your comics/ graphic novels, over all fandom. I see a good cross section of things, I’m sure a lot of people would enjoy. Read the novel Batman knight fall it’s very good, did not see it on your shelves. Don’t burn yourself out but try to post once a week or so just so your channel stays active and new people can find it. I think with some of that sprinkled in with off-season free agency, what you would like to see the Bills do etc you will be fine. Just be you, don’t try to be what you think people want, everyone came for what you put out, so refine don’t change, and I think you will do awesome.

The Super Bowl commercials and extended halftime make the game drag. They kill the flow of the game. The halftime show reminded me I am not a fan of too many Usher songs. I thought i was. I enjoyed the defenses battle toe to tow. Being a Chiefs fan it was nerve racking struggling to score. I was worried SF would continue to run the ball and eventually break the game open. Luckily they allowed KC to hang around.
Certainly changing the amount of time player are idle than to what they've been accustomed all season long is detrimental like in baseball when a starting pitcher whose team has a big, extended inning then comes out the next half inning and gets rocked. In this case It just shows that the sporting event takes a back seat to the commerce.
It's similar to the mediocre games that are the rule rather than the exception for Thursday games. Why the league doesn't sandwich a Thursday game between a bye week is puzzling. That would give teams 10, then 9 days between games, and the quality of play on Thursday would surely improve.
Another thing that bothers me about the halftime hoopla is when they shoot off a bunch of pyrotechnics, and fill the stadium with smoke that the athletes get to inhale when they return to the field,
but that's the NFL. It's not until you go to a live NFL game that you see the teams just standing around with their thumbs you-know-where until the commercial break is over,
but that's entertainment.

Any pro player will tell you there’s holding on every play of every game. Mahomes gets hit late or in the head a lot w/o flags. Chiefs made plays when they needed to more than the 49ers, ravens, bills, dolphins. A thank you to your organization for trading their spot in the 2017 Draft with us.

Yeah. A lot of Chiefs fans have had a soft spot for Buffalo from when Marv Levy took over there. He was well liked when he was in KC, but never had a contender, so we enjoyed seeing him make it to the show even if they lost every time.
