I used 2mm pearls in place of my 8o's. It worked beautifully.

Can you substitute diamond duos for superduo beads?
Yes you can but you must change some seeds size probably inorder to fill some gaps, Superduo's are thinner.

I love your tutorials, but can you use just regular super duos and get the same results?
Yes you can. You must probably fill a gap that could be a little bigger because of the shape.
The only issue I had with this video was that the diamond duo, seed beads, and thread were all light colors, so it was sometimes hard to see which bead the thread was coming out of because the beads and thread blended into each other. For teaching purposes, if the beads you are using are all light colors, It might be better to use a darker thread.
Other than that the video and your english were great! :0)
