STAFF TRAINING WITH ME (What It's Like to be a Camp Counselor in 2020)

Quick nugget: this was mid-June that this was filmed and I'm actually already home from camp now, so before you ask about masks or anything, they weren't mandatory yet! Also lol I'm taking requests for a better title so I don't sound so much like a beauty guru ;) BUT HEY THIS IS STAFF TRAINING Week ! This served as our quarantine period before campers arrived so that we were all for sure healthy! I'm realizing now that last summer's staff training vlog was a little less of what we actually do day-to-day since it was "test day" where we actually got to practice what we were learning with families that came to camp for memorial day. This year's vlog is a way more accurate picture of what a day of staff training looks like with getting certified in things and sitting in seminars to be our very best :) Still, if you want to see any of last summer's vlogs:

Honestly the only reason I wanna go to outdoor camp is because I want to get away from my mom but at the same time I want to go to outdoor camp to learn to be more active and to learn more skills and also to meet new people because after I checked it sounds fun it just cost a lot

Camp is like my life it's so much fun even though my camp days three days it's an over night camp but it's still so much fun me and my friends go to 4-H camp it's tons of fun

You don’t wear mask?! In my camp we have to wear mask during staff training, and around the kids.

We didn't wear masks expect when parents came to pick up and drop off their kids. The expectation was that families had been quarantining their camper two weeks before they came to camp and we had already been quarantining as a staff

Micah Cate I think Staff should wear mask at all times because you don’t know if one staff member has COVID-19. I would suggest you publish videos that show that Staff are Wearing masks. Because parents may think Their kid will not be safe with Older teenagers/Adults not wearing mask, like in this video.
