Words fell short writing an introduction for a celebrity like Mani. The guy is a true example of how hard work, self confidence and self awareness can get you anywhere in life. A nobody from the streets of Karachi turned himself into one of the finest host and comedy actors Pakistan has ever produced. He got fame in the early 2000 from the hit sitcom ''Sub Set Hai'' and created a legacy of his own. Other than Sub set hai and Azfar Mani show, Mani has a huge list of hit shows in his bucket. Shows like Streets (road show), Hero Ya Zero, Manism, Casual, Ulta Seedha, Hum 2 Hamara Show, and Teri Meri Kahani are just a few that comes to mind. Mani has also performed serious characters in super hit TV Serials like ''Yaqeen Ka safar'' and '' Bandish'' and surprised the audience once again with his acting range and his understanding of human emotions.

Message for Mani: A real game-changer would occur if you could get Mustafa Kamal to digitize all land records of Karachi since 1947, and make them available to the public. 1) Currently, only records of the recent past are digitized. 2) Housing societies and corrupt officials block people's access to the records to get bribes. 3) Digitizing land records and making them public for the people of Karachi would decrease the number of court cases, which citizens have to file just to access their own property files. 4) While records of rural Sindh have been digitized, the land records of Karachi are largely inaccessible. This will be a huge service to the people living in Karachi. Let's hear your views about this issue and let us have a timeline for the digitization of land records.

The reason why 'angrezi bolne waliyan' are leading Feminism in Pakistan is that these women are comparatively more empowered through education and the class they belong to. And many of them truly recognise that when you are empowered, it's your duty to empower the powerless. Tarana Burke who led "ME TOO" in US is a college graduate irrespective of where she came from and overcame many challenges in her life. Can you say the same for someone from a rural area in Pakistan? Does your system give a rural woman opportunity at least as much as a BLACK woman in the US? No. Please weigh two situations before making such sweeping comments when people look up to you and discrediting women just because you think they are 'burger.'

Honest unplugged conversation as always! However, forgive me for saying it in english and sounding buger but lets not lead the conversation on ‘Feminism’ in a rhetorical manner. I extremely appreciate the realness in accent and attire and the background as well as the simplicity of every single interview. Its so raw and engaging unlike many high budget shows even on digital. BUT, it can still go wrong and hurtful when dealing with topics like me too and feminisim (almost a gaali🙄) that might look fabricated to many just because laughing it off is easier and a no brainer. The fact that when discussing it, you and Mani werent as scared of saying it all wrong and pushing the wrong buttons like incase of refraining from naming someOne keh ‘KHABAR BAN JAYEGI’, tells alot about how tone deaf the conversation around feminism is hamare haan. Appologies again for having to read it by me, a female(only if ever read) please dont assume the counter narrative by men is discouraged. On the contrary, I believe just the acceptance of its complexity and variations in narratives, no matter how insignificant the cause might look to men will go a loooong way in steering it towards the moderate path that we all want to see it on.
