In 2016 we grew our high-energy club night into a true drum & bass celebration, Hospitality In The Park. The 10,000 strong party drew together DJs, fans, listeners, singers, live acts and MCs together to showcase every shade and style encompassing a 174 heartbeat. As the Finsbury Park fun continues and round two promising even bigger stage takeovers and a myriad of artist weaponry, we present an equally bursting drum & bass double disc, the ‘Hospitality In The Park 2017’ LP.
In the same vein as our all-day summer special, this huge 70 track mash-up spans across a full 360’ perspective of the genre; representing the established, up and coming, soulful, obscure, liquid, innovative, dark, techy, neuro, jungle style and everything in between.
Included are over 25 brand new exclusives from reputable drum & bass titans Danny Byrd, S.P.Y, Makoto and Keeno, there are VIPs from Metrik and Nu:Logic, remixes from Hugh Hardie, Total science, Camo & Krooked and Calibre, and a ‘Bullet Proof’ banger from Krakota.
Across two mixed CDs we’ve drawn for this year’s surefire summer weapons with Fred V & Grafix, The Prototypes, 1991, High Contrast, The Upbeats, Breakage in the mix. With this year’s Incubator stage pulling artists that are rising through the ranks, up and comers’ Whiney, Unglued, GLXY and Kyrist bring exciting new offerings to the compilation.
Both fans and artists came together from all over the globe last year and we expect no less in 2017. Equally, this compilation gives an international perspective covering all corners of the globe from Japan’s Mountain, the USA’s Flite and Ownglow, the Netherlands Black Sun Empire and New Zealand's Shapeshifter.
Drum & bass is stronger than ever and it's here to stay. See you at the park!

Lyrics:
Take my body, take my mind
Take any part of me left that you can find
'Cause until I can have you, I'm empty inside
And you look beautiful as ever
I'm gonna take you away to where the earth and the sea end
We're gonna fall off the edge just like falling in love again
And when we're finally floating in the darkness, that's when
We're gonna shine like the sun and never end
Take my money, take my time
Girl, you can have anything that I would call mine
'Cause I'm hoping I can have you
Or at least a little part of you, baby
'Cause I can't stop thinking 'bout you
I'm gonna take you away to where the earth and the sea end
We're gonna fall off the edge just like falling in love again
And when we're finally floating in the darkness, that's when
We're gonna shine like the sun and never end
The hardest part is knowing
That you feel the same as I do
But I just can't help showing
My love for you
I'm gonna take you away to where the earth and the sea end
We're gonna fall off the edge just like falling in love again
And when we're finally floating in the darkness, that's when
We're gonna shine like the sun and never end
Love it.

50 Likes and I'll play this at my wedding.
dirty drop at 3:41
I'm against the grain here, but I won't lie - that is one of the worst DnB tunes I've ever heard in my 18 years of listening to Drum & Bass.
That's pop music, not Drum & Bass, but they'll make quite a lot of money from this track because it's pop-ular.
human practitioner could you send me the pop songs that sound like this? curious to see how you made that conclussion tbh. just cos it has a stunning vocal over the top (as its a remix) doesnt mean its a cash cow lol
It's mainly the chord progression. The same having been used in millions of pop tunes. I can't help but hear anything but pop in this track (except the drumbeat)
I should probably keep my opinion to myself, however I really want to see DnB go back to its original glory, rather than the direction it's heading in.
Sorry if I offended Nu:Logic - they've done some great tunes.
I know this style of arrangement is very popular among the masses of people.
Every drum n bass song in youtube has the experts in drum n bass saying that drum n bass is dying and old drum n bass was better etc etc. I listen to 18-19 years drum n bass and my opinion is that every artist has his own drum n bass. Producers of this music love what they doing and i can see it in their music. Thats why i love this music it can use any sound without taboos, you can listen from jazz to heavy metal sounds and pop sounds also so yes this is a drum n bass tune. I love the work that drum n bass artist doing every year and for me drum n bass never died and will never die. I love old school i love new school i love when artists love the music they make and have no limits to the sounds that they will use. Its not the drum n bass that take the direction it's heading in its the artist that will choose what direction will head to. And this tune i like it a lot its a great remix.
Look up the "1-5-4 minor chord progression" and you'll see how overused it is in pop/rock. At least when it's used in a jazz context there are chord substitutions and tonal-modulation incorporated into the chord changes.
So ? If something that it used must not used again then we must delete most of the music and listen only to classical music . He like that chord he use it. I like this song i listen. If you can make better music go ahead and i will support you to .
