Bro, this is why he's on my Mount Rushmore. I can't think of a more well rounded pro wrestler. In-ring, the dude was a real life Olympic Gold medalist so there is absolutely no doubting his technical abilities. The dude could rock the mic in a variety of ways as well. He was great at getting heat when he was a heel and he was great at making the audience pop when he was a face. He also had the uncanny ability to be portrayed as a dangerous threat at times and a stooge at other times without ever losing credibility. He was truly a remarkable talent, and I feel lucky to have been a fan while he was at the top of his game.
Yeah I honestly hated him as a kid but now rewatching shit, I realize I hated him because he was so good at the character. And can actually appreciate how hard all the physical stuff he was doing was. Legend.
Yet it played PERFECTLY for his character. Kurt plays the guy you clowned but could EASILY lose your belt to. On any given night someone’s ankle could be broken lol the duality of it was amazing 💯

He's one of the greatest ever in the ring. You know you made it when you get a large reaction like that from the crowd especially playing as a heel. Its respect and love when we do it now.
