I use Canva Pro for all of my thumbnails, too. I just set up a template to create different versions like you eluded to in this video. Also, the Glow effect is a super easy way to get a white outline around your picture or other objects to make them pop from the background. Great video, Pat. Thanks for always keeping us informed!

I don't comment on these often but I thought of this as I watched. Correct, you can simply drag the full original image and then click on the image, then effect, and then BG remover once it is on top of the template/graphic design background. Saves the redownload, save, and reimport step.

I do the posing trick all the time. Saves so much time, and love Canva! I just interviewed their Global Head of Recruitment, they’re growing like a crazy. Such a useful video, thank you Pat!

Why do that? All I do is that whenever a person sends me their photo and they’re facing the wrong way, just use the mirror and turn it the first way. You only needed to do it once and then use the mirror.
CZcams Thumbnail... does it really require a meme face? (creator's picture) to rank better? does it really help the algorithms? Yeahh topic is meme faces but I'm not trolling, these are genuine questions.

Canva - putting thumbnail designers out of business since 2013. This is the sad part of our current economy. For every tool like this out there, a multitude of people that suffer as a result of losing work. Eventually, even CZcamsrs will be replaced by AI tubers.

Canva is amazing because you'll retain the fidelity of your orig photo, which is unlike the free bkgrnd removers which only output a lo-res file

Thanks for that, and the thumbnail was a part of the search template gallery, I don't believe that to be just PRO only, but I'm not 100% sure.

I've been using inkscape to remove backgrounds for free. There are oodles of tutorials for how to do it as well. Just a tip for those like me 😊

I've used Ecamm LIVE for over 4 years now. Love it a ton because it's easy! Other than that, StreamYard, or even OBS work well too.
