Individually pepe ramos were gud but defensive shape was very inorganized so it was not tough to do back then. Back then def shape wasnt that good so defenders used to be very reckless and careless which made it easier for messi to do that. Musiala is just better at close control, physicality and ball protection than any version of messi, just admit it!! but maybe he is not agile as messi. His dribbling is amazing but his instincts are not as good as messis. Maybe he is missing the same play intelligence or just lacks in passing and shooting. Messi just scores from everywhere, almost everytime brilliantly. His shots are super precise and he can also shoot very precise and also strong if necessary. He always only puts exactly as much power as necessary. He just instinctivly knows what to do, and Messi is also a very good playmaker. He has good vision and it doesnt matter if it is a shot or a pass, it is always pin point accurate. Musiala is almost only good in dribbling. He needs to train more on his weaknesses to become a more complete player. He needs to figure out when he can shoot as fast as possible. His timings sometimes lack. Same goes for Sane, they both could be much better.
