    I have this bike in gunship grey and all things considered after accessorizing I really like it and feel it’s been well worth the money. I agree with mostly all of what you’ve said… it’s not the ideal tour bike but you absolutely could, shit dudes traveled all over the country for weeks on end on chopped out Harleys with no more than 88ci engines back in the day and this bike is far more advanced. But I get what you’re saying, if I were to tour I’d probably go with a more suitable ride. I plan on getting a riser setup soon, think I’m gonna start with 6 or 6.5 so I don’t have to change any cables and wiring yet then go from there. I’m also probably gonna stick with straight so I can use the stock too clamp and tach mount. If I feel I need more then I’ll go 8 or 10”. Currently researching 2-1’s also, might have to look into the Stealth pipe you mentioned 👍
    Have fun, man and ride safe! ✌🏼
    Current setup:
    -Flo MX rider pegs w/matching passenger pegs,
    -HD sissy bar and luggage rack w/ a Saddleman day pack,

    -Thrashin Supply riser bag,
    -Road Warrior Fairing w/ hand guards,

    -White/amber front LED’s,
    -Matte black Lucky Speed Shop Shorty levers w trigger,
    -Hairy Customs oil cooler screen,
    -Cruise control,
    -Curved license plate mount,
    -Quad lock w/ vibration dampener and MagSafe charger,

      Hell yeah mean, I’m thinking 8.5 inch riser for me. And yeah touring any bike is up to the user and there opinion but I just couldn’t recommend it personally. Ride safe!

    • @Jtdubbzz
      @Jtdubbzz Před rokem

      I think 8.5 is like the sweet spot. You should do an install video, I’d check that out for sure!

    if you have a better riser set up it changes a lot. I had the regular 2 up too but I switched to sdc saddlmen seat its definitely better for long rides but it sits u even higher then the step up. and try some mini floor boards so you can move your feet around more. if you get a bigger fairing and the right riser set up you'll feel like you can kill miles. I also have legend rear suspension so that helps.

    • @ZizyMoto
      @ZizyMoto  Před rokem

      Yeah man I agree. What height risers do you recommend. I’m thinking 9.5-10.5

      @@ZizyMoto 9.5 pull back would be good if you dont want your arms to high especially if you want pop wheelies. I bought the 6.5 thrashin pull back and i was still bent over so i bought a thrashin pull back plate for road glides that brought bars back more and raise it about 2.5in. So with my stock bars im about 12.5 total rise if that helps. Stock bars with 9.5 riser youll be at 13 total rise. If i knew what i know now i would bought 9.5 from start haha

    Low Rider ST is slightly higher... slightly more shock travel as well. It actually does feel it would be slightly more comfy for long trips.

    • @marvelharris9540
      @marvelharris9540 Před měsícem

      they use the same suspension on low rider s and st.. not sure where the extra travel is coming from?

      @AyaWetts Před měsícem

      @@marvelharris9540 I'm not sure its 100% identical. Its set up slightly different... they made the ST more comfy, and the S more sporty. They list the difference, but I don't know part numbers, or if there is a slight mounting difference or whatever

    My new '23 Low Rider S insurance is $362/yr. My '06 YZFR1 is about $200 more than that. Still gonna keep that bike. 17 y/o bike costing way more than a brand new one amazes me. Both same full coverage, both $500 deductible. Sure, I'm 54 but amazes me the difference. Drop the comprehensive on the old R1 and save $51/yr. Crazy. Hehe. Dude, spend the money, do the mods and fill us all in so I don't waste money. Hate wasting money.

    Also is your bike not fly by wire? I notice your normal vans cult grips, I wish I could put some on my bike but My 2023 came fly by wire

    • @ZizyMoto
      @ZizyMoto  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It’s fly by wire. You can cut off your originals and slide on the grips. Super easy just make sure to get something to help you slide them on

    BTW, I had been looking for the Low Rider S in black since January, I saw one came in at local dealer and I jumped on it. Because I was lusting over the bike, they jacked me $1900 for a so-called "VIP program". 3 year warrantee(2 year comes with no cost), "free maintenance" and all the hot dogs and hamburgers I can eat. I was sorta dumb and placed my signature on all the documents the F&I guy placed in front of me. Beware. Harley dealers are vipers. Nonetheless, I love the bike.

      @@ZizyMoto Smart of you. I was dumb. But, I'll get all that free food for the next 3 years....oil and filters too.. I think it's going to be tough to make that all add up to $1900. We'll see. Oh yea, free heated storage too....even though I have a garage of my own. Lol. If anyone is buying, take the time to read it all.
