  • And myriad other issues, but I love it anyway.
Upgrading to a Canon G7X camera has given me a lot of motivation to make videos. You can get one too, here: amzn.to/2MSsUz2
Recorded on July 4, 2018, which pretty much seemed like any other day of the year.

What character! What a history the bike has had! If it could only talk, what a story it would tell. Unfortunately, the bent frame means that it has to be put out of its misery. Thanks for giving it a fitting memorial.

If you still have the frame, please put it on Criagslist Bike Parts for a few bucks or even free. Some of us would really get into that old frame. If I was closer I would be glad to pick that frame up and grab some parts and put that frame back to great, fun use. Lust sayin'. But I'm in Michigan. Oh well, next time. See ya.

I suspect that the story of the bike probably goes as follows: someone brought it new in 1950 ridden for a few years put away, oil crisis bike is got out again new front brake for what ever reason as well as lights and a rack is added it gets crashed into something head on gets abandoned somewhere. It is not uncommon for the original brakes to be replaced as you can not get new cables. The correct lights would be a half sphere and a rear Teardrop shaped one mounted to the left hand seat stay. It is ashame about the crash damage it is not a straight forward job to fix
