artie was always a hack, his stand up was fucking horrid. But he was incredible with the one liners on the show. He truly craves self destruction on the highest level
one line wasn't enough, just ask his nostrils.
Artie was equivalent to Andy Richter From Conan show. Very good at one liners and was silent 90% of the show. Which created his own fan base. Fan's would get their few endorphins from his one liner and wait for him to deliver it again. And since Artie was silent 90% Of the time, they'd miss him. Meanwhile Howard was doing the heavy lifting. Talking for 4 straight hours a day, 4 Days a week. If Artie talked 4 hours straight people would blow their brains off. He couldn't hold people for his 30 mins standup. People were booing, throwing stuff, leaving while Artie was on stage. Also complaining he'd do the same material over and over. Artie and Andy will never compare to the greatness of Howard And Conan.
You must hate standup comedy. Artie’s standup is pure gold.

I know just like Sal and Yucko life is better than how it ended up with Artie yet Artie will always be funnier and more beloved than those two who like Stuttering John was jealous of Artie and hated that he was respected more than them. Arte makes jokes and doesnt care what Yucko is saying, and you can tell Yucko is angry like Sal used to be and Artie just annoyed.
