Sofia Trams - The return of the tram to Knyazhevo / Завръщането на трамвая до Княжево

A little over a month ago, after almost 3 years of interruption, the route of tram 5 in Sofia was fully restored! In addition to the renewal of the tram tracks, the trams on line 5 were also renewed and now are the completely low-floor Pesa Swing. Trams on line 4 have also been replaced, also with Pesa Swing. However, the renovation of the track was marked by numerous scandals due to the enourmous delay and obvious lack of quality of the constructions. It was eventually completed more than half a year later than planned. The highlight of the video isn't the track defects, but the more observant of you might notice quite a few things that aren't quite right.

Преди малко повече от месец, след почти 3 години прекъсване, бе възстановен изцяло маршрута на трамвай 5 в София. Освен обновяване на трасето, бяха обновени и трамваите по линия 5, които в вече са изцяло нископодовите Песа Суинг. Подменени са и трамваите по линия 4, също с Песа Суинг. Ремонтът на трасето обаче бе белязан с множество скандали заради космическото му забавяне и очевидна липса на качество. В крайна сметка бе завършен, с повече от половин година по-късно от планираното. Акцентът на видеото не са дефектите на трасето, но по-внимателните от вас може би ще забележат доста неща, които не са съвсем както трябва.

Great video, I've subscribed. When I visited Sofia in November this section was still closed. Good to see it open again.

I have always been amazed by Sofia trams and transport there in general. The city has very developed tramway network.
