it's been almost 8 years since i've watched this movie and it's still one of the best i've ever seen. i was 7 when this was released and at that time i didn't understand anything with the story, i just loved how the characters interacted and how peaceful the movie was. but now i can fully understand what this movie was trying to convey, due to that i cried nonstop when i watched it again.. this is seriously a masterpiece.

I usually don’t cry watching movies but this movie is a huge exception. Really great writing and the rollercoaster of emotions, my eyes were watery for most parts of the movie. I think a lot of us felt the same way they did atleast once in their life. The feeling of loneliness is very relatable and that makes this movie special too. And the visuals are so clean. Honestly one of the best i have ever seen. This movie is one of my tops.

My first ever anime movie is your name. I watch it with my friend and were stunned by the animation and story. After a year I watched it again with more attention and believe me the movie surprised me giving 10x satisfaction than 1st time. I focused on the songs and this movie album is the best. At last when mitsuha forget his name and looked at her hand for the name, taki wrote I love you instead of his name. And at last when the two meet each other and asked "can you tell me, Your Name? ", and the movie ends with its name with background music is the best part. That is where anime peak. I am jealous of the people who witnessed this movie in theatre❤❤❤❤❤

I just got home from the movies after watching Suzume which is amazing btw, but I decided to watch more of the directors work and this is what popped up as number one. My life has been flipped upside down back to back in a matter of 5 hours. Eat your hearts out but Disney or any other Studio out there doesn’t make you feel this real. This man knows human emotion and how to mold, bend and twist it.

I'm in a college courses for film and media. Both require a lot of confidence, enthusiasm, time and patience, especially when it comes to filming (something I lack).
