True, but what I like about this story is that it shows that despite Captain America and Red Skull being from a bygone era, their beliefs live on. Which why I think their feud at time is underappreciated. Captain America inspires the masses, while Red Skull poisons the masses.

This comic series is amazing. It has the same look and feel of “Marvels” or “Marvel ruins” or “Earth X” but modern with current continuity and small things like Captain America looking like House of M old man Steve until he gets the serum then he’s wearing a suit that looks like the Secret Empire Stevil suit. I like the mix that this plays off the same concept of “Old Man Logan” but with more “Age of Ultron” and some “Days of Future Past”. They also threw “Civil War” into there with the government locking up heroes and villains and torturing and killing them and a version of Ironman pit up against Cap and underground heroes. This shit is great.
So much of this story I see parallels in societies around the world today. Especially with the notion of “news crafted to sate people’s fears”
Man, that seems like such a bad idea to put on a mechanical suit of armor right in front of Ultron XD. Would not be surprised if we get a twist reveal Ultron's been setting him up for a while waiting for the chance to "puppet the leader."
"Conditioning to believe good guys are bad guys"? Hmmm...kinda reminds me of something in the real world.
And its easy to know who the true good guys are and who the true bad guys are. The true good guys are who the media colour as evil and as "terryrysts". The bad guys are the ones the governments doesn't allow you to criticise, and they make sure to brain wassh the kids and teach them on how poor those guys have had it and that they're the "most oppressed people".
I can't picture Ultron being beneath ANYONE'S thumb, some villains just weren't made for subservience
Remember he's a sentient AI. The one thing it has, is time, to play the long game.

I love these stories where all the heroes are killed by a villain or something on the planet, then no external threat appears, always keeping that villain in power, no Thanos, no Galactus, nothing all the threats say you know what doesn't exist heroes in this world so let's go somewhere else, it almost seems as if the heroes attract these threats somehow .

I really love avengers twilight. It’s one of my top 10 favorite comics I’ve read so far in the last 5 years. I genuinely think it’s that good and interesting but that’s just my opinion. I just really like post apocalyptic or dark future story’s lol
